A New South Wales judge (an ex-lawyer and activist from the Environmental Defenders Office) has stopped development of the small Rocky Hill coking coal mine because the Commonwealth government has signed the Paris Climate agreement, which requires “rapid and deep reduction in GHG emissions.”
Two things are obvious.
Firstly, this decision must be appealed and overturned.
Secondly, Australia must immediately withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.
If this decision is not overturned, every development of coal, oil, or gas in Australia can be challenged.
But the ominous implications go much farther. The sports and tourism industries should be fearful. These industries encourage millions of competitors, visitors, tourists, officials, and politicians to use cars, trains, buses, planes, and ships to burn hydrocarbon fuels purely for entertainment. Car-racing is out, as are new cruise terminals, stadiums, resorts, high-rise hotels, and fireworks.
Moreover, any new road, rail, or airport development will add emissions and must be stopped along with any expansion of the grazing or timber industries and the brewing of beer.
There are some good things: it should mark the end of tax-funded climate jamborees and study tours for politicians. They should stay among their electorates and conduct electronic meetings via their own expensive NBN.
But if they can stop the mining of coking coal, this will also stop metal-smelting, refining, and steel-making.
This decision surely marks the high water mark of climate lunacy.

Let’s say for the sake of argument that the climate change fraud is actually real and there is good reason to be in the Paris Treaty. The proper way to manage that scenario is for the legislative branches to pass legislation implementing what needs to be.
What the judge did in this case is what is called judicial legislation. This process uses court orders to implement policies that can’t and shouldn’t make it through the legislative branches. Liberals often use this. One early example was forced bussing in the US which was opposed by parents of all races.
The root cause of this problem is unethical judges who believe that their causes are justified by any means. When a judge makes rulings with such a high degree of lunacy they should be impeached for incompetence.

Tourism, entertainment, climate conferences, etc may be judged as luxuries. Food, shelter and mobility are necessities.
The Greens and their fantasies are a threat to society. If they gained power, they’d do to us what Chavez and Maduro have done to Venezuela.
Trump pulled America out of the Paris Accord for the same reason all the unemplyoment it would cause what happened in New South Wales we dont want to have happen to us and we also should reject the Green New Deal its like buying Snake Oil or some fake cure for something that only is in the minds of the Eco-Wackos the Back to Nature weirdos and the Tree Hugger Tree Sitter nut-balls

Those in policy-making positions with emotional passion and absolutely zero understanding or tolerance of actual science will continue to make these far-reaching harmful judgments.
