Never mind that they don’t actually have any thermometer data over half of the land surface. “Gray areas represent missing data.”
NOAA determined that Saudi Arabia was record-hot without any actual thermometer data.
The land data is fake, but 97% of fish live in the ocean. The fish are upset because much of the ocean data is fake too.

Just because the NOAA land and ocean data are fake is no reason not to trust the scientific consensus. They all come up with the same fake graph derived from the same fake data.
