The terrible effects of President Joe Biden’s war on fossil fuels are taking a serious toll on the nation as the left-wing media have consistently attempted to defend him from bad press.
U.S. Energy Information Administration data revealed that gas prices per gallon were at about $2.42 when former President Donald Trump left office.
Under Biden, prices have increased every single month to a discomforting $3.23, a 33.47 percent increase. The gas data follow a hot Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Producer Price Index (PPI), both key inflation indicators released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
The New York Post reported in a recent story on the CPI data that gasoline prices had risen “2.4 percent from May and [are] now up almost 42 percent from a year ago.”
CNN reported on the extent of the inflation fears plaguing the economy:
The pandemic-era inflation spike has sparked concerns that an overheating economy could stop Americans from spending, which would be terrible for the recovery.
The media have consistently played the role of lapdogs for Biden’s agenda by gaslighting and hoodwinking viewers and readers on Biden’s culpability concerning rising prices.
The Associated Press recently ran a pro-Biden puff story headlined: “Biden administration sounds alarm on rising energy prices,” despite the fact that GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis Patrick De Haan said Biden’s energy plan was contributing to rising gas prices.
That’s like intentionally causing an avalanche, and then being propped up as a hero for warning everyone about the avalanche.
AP also recently ran one of its phony fact-checks headlined: “AP FACT CHECK: House GOP falsely blames Biden for gas prices.”
CNN was also mercilessly mocked on Twitter recently for publishing a ridiculous story headlined, “Gas prices are above $3. Biden doesn’t have a magic wand to fix that.”
But CNN undercut itself here. The outlet had just released a story in April blaming rising inflation on “[a]ll that stimulus” and saying that the “biggest driver was a sharp 8.8% jump in gasoline prices.”
The Seattle Times published a pro-Biden spin story in July headlined: “Fact check: The bogus GOP claim that Biden is responsible for higher gasoline prices.”
Conservatives are under attack. Contact ABC News (818-460-7477), CBS News (212-975-3247), and NBC News (212- 664-6192) and demand they report on the disastrous inflationary pressures Biden’s agenda is exerting on the economy.
