The climate alarmist echo chamber must have decided that this week will be national crop production alarmism week.
As of Monday morning at 7:00 am Eastern, the top items for a Google News search on “climate change” are top-heavy with articles asserting global warming is destroying crop production all over the world.
Yet the science is soundly settled and nothing could be farther from the truth.
In an article titled, “What You Can Do To Increase Food Security In The Face Of Climate Change,” Forbes columnist Joan Michelson writes:
“Yes, climate change affects what you eat; you need look no further than how extreme weather and droughts have destroyed harvests and increased produce prices.”
Yet global crop yields are setting new records, yet again this year. This follows the past six years being the six highest years for crop production in human history.
In fact, crop yields per acre are rising all over the world, setting new records almost every year.
The facts demonstrate the complete opposite of Forbes lies about climate change destroying harvests, creating food shortages, and rising food prices.
The columnists at always-alarmist Forbes have developed a perfect recipe for manufacturing a climate crisis.
Don’t worry about the facts; just make stuff up.

Forbes doesn’t usually do such a shoddy job. She must have written this before she fact checked. Her number one point is ‘eat organic’. The argument of a twenty year old. The A-OC of nutrition and agriculture. Organic foods decrease soil quality and suck the life out of our soils. Only Nitrogen can be replaced organically (with legume rotations). Phosphorus, Potassium, and Sulphur and all the minor nutrients decline as food is produced and shipped away from its source. Eat more veggies yes. About half by plate area. One quarter meat or fish. One quarter potatoes or pasta. Less sugar, less high energy foods like bread. More fruit, it depends whether your blood sugar is an issue and how much activity you engage in. In the west our problem is too much high energy foods and too little activity. Eat a diet balanced for your activity and you’ll do just fine.

News Flash: Crop production world-wide is rising at an alarming and unprecedented rate due to the negative effects of carbon emissions. With CO2 levels rising to concentrations which have never been measured in history, food supplies are in dangers of flooding the markets and causing mass confusion over pricing and selection. Unfortunately, these conditions are predicted only to improve over coming years and decades as the industrial world seems unable and unwilling to reach an accord to reduce production output, thereby assuring that even greater output is likely.
Ask any farmer. We take the weather we get and hope that over the years, we get a good average. Once upon a time, global warming would cause drought and famine. 2019? 2019 has seriously tested the old axiom, ‘rain makes grain’. The price of corn went up today because it’s about to snow on water-logged , immature crops in the upper Midwest.
They changed the name from global warming because that was too confining. Climate change? That’s whatever they say it is, and it’s all bad.
Whether it be food production, extreme weather events, rapid sea level rise, rapid warming, or polar bears in distress, the entire climate change dogma has been fabricated to advance political agendas that have little or no hope of making it on their own.
If the claimed objectives to control the earths temperature were actually invoked
the MSM would be one of the first casualties .
Stop killing trees to produce a product that last less time than a plastic straw .
The MSM went all in for what ? Journalistic practices chucked to promote a fraud . Why ?
Could it be a simple as print market share is in decline and there is tremendous pressure put on many industries to comply with the left eco-anarchists so it was just easier to play ball ?
Then they just got caught repeating gross exaggerations they were flooded with . The people who gave the scam legs need to do the right thing and
put the science back in science . The problem is no one wants to hear them anymore because the fraud is hard baked religion . You are just expected to believe, forget the facts . I hope they sleep well on their pillow of cash .
