A summit was held in Ottawa this weekend as a last-ditch effort to save the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion from Edmonton to the BC (British Columbia) coast, that the province of BC continues to block.
BC’s Premier John Horgan left the meeting with Alberta Premier Notley and PM Trudeau still refusing to allow the pipeline expansion, refusing to respect the Canadian Constitution and refusing to acknowledge BC’s responsibilities in Confederation.
And Horgan also left without any consequences from the Prime Minister.
BC will still receive their federal transfers and infrastructure grants despite acting in such an un-Canadian way toward their neighbors.
Today, I’ll show you three ways the BC government is a raging hypocrite.
After you see my video, I think you’ll agree that BC can stop telling us that they are concerned about protecting the water.
Or, here’s a better idea: Trudeau can stop buying that stupid excuse to block Canadian oil and gas.

$1 billion has already spent close to $1 billion on this failed attempt
so far and the potential of another $8-$9 billion (maybe more )
in finishing this Canadian regulatory / political odyssey .

Albertans better read the fine print before signing off on the Federal Government take over of a pipeline . Let’s face it Trudeau is a tree hugger who is only publically now supporting the TM pipeline expansion for political capital and to make sure he sinks carbon tax fangs into the Canadian public .
The City of Burnaby , the City of Vancouver , and the NDP / Green
ransom party have all spent tax payer resources stonewalling and obstructing efforts to get a federally approved pipeline built despite the fact the majority of people in the Province support the pipeline project expansion. Thereby exposing BC tax payers to $billions of dollars in damages from a pipeline that has consulted to death
and has won 14 of 14 court cases .
The cosy little fire side chat with the three socialist parties last Sunday was a joke . Why would any of them not be cheering on the path this is headed ? Government ownership and Kinder Morgan /Trans Mountain share holders laughing all the way to the bank . No no how foolish you say .
The project costs have potentially doubled (or more ) meaning the shippers who actually pay the rate base cost of service are well past the exit price of $ 6.7 billion already and what else has changed ?
Lower USA taxes and a massive opportunity to employ capital in the USA energy industry without having to deal with dip shit Municipalities and socialist political parties . So for those shippers and shareholders it’s now “show me the money ” . Everyone assumes
Kinder Morgan seriously intended to build the pipeline . What if they didn’t ? What if they just wanted to get it approved and then
flog an approved project , flip it ? One problem, the costs just kept
skyrocketing and the deal with shippers was essentially a fixed price 20 contract with the pipeline wearing the risk of cost overruns . Gulp . How could you flog a deal that no purchaser in their right minds would take but stupid politically motivated government
would .
Maybe just maybe the governments (tax payers ) are buying a pig in a poke . Maybe just maybe the stupid idiots running Burnaby , the City of Vancouver and the Brown /Green party in BC are just plan B . … To be rightfully sued for $Billions when this thing collapses .
Trans Mountain is a relatively small company to take on such massive risk and why would they ?
If the governments buy this titanic the only people getting screwed will be tax payers and the people along the pipeline hoping to get a great big bag of cash for doing virtually nothing .
