This is not the first time believers have been mystified by inconsistencies in the “truth” of climate change. Remember, if you tell a lie often enough and loud enough it becomes the truth. So it has been with climate change.
This reminds me of German POW’s being brought into New York during World War II. To counter the moral impact of the devastating bombing of Germany, the Nazi’s had published pictures of an area that had been totally bombed out saying it was New York City bombed by the Germans. This propaganda had taken so well in the Germans that in seeing New York they were amazed that the US could rebuild all of those building so quickly.
The same thing is happening conceptually when data that clearly counter acts the alarmist comes to light. Perhaps the censors should work harder.
It’s possible that CO2 concentration will keep climbing but temperatures will follow the sun’s expected cycle lower. I’m not making a prediction, just saying.
If so, the hoax will need more and bigger lies. They’re working on it.

A few years ago some nit-wit said that Nebraska’s Platt River would be all dried up by now and some idiot said the British Isles would be a series of tiny islands by now and Al Bore said the arctic icecap would be gone
