Boston broke a 116-year-old record Saturday morning when the temperature dropped to 23 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
The previous record low for November 11 was set at 24 degrees in 1901.
New record low for BOS today. The low temp so far is 23 degrees which breaks the previous record of 24 set in 1901. This marks 2 consecutive record lows for BOS.

Saturday marked the second consecutive day of record-breaking cold for the Boston area. On Friday, the city broke its previous 2004 record low temperature of 25 degrees.
Boston did reach its record low temp of 24°F for the 10th, which beats the old record of 25 set in 2004

Boston isn’t the only part of the country experiencing cold, according to the weather service.

Meteorologist David Epstein said that Arctic air moved into the region on Friday, ushering in the coldest temperatures of the season so far. Forecasters said the region could still see record cold on Sunday morning as well.

According to the weather service’s seven-day forecast for Boston, Saturday should warm up to 35 degrees, while Sunday should see a high of 43.

This doesn’t fit the Warmists’ view, so it’s a cold snap .
On their other hand, a record high temperature is climate.
Another record cold here today, and the hits just keep on coming. This is part of a much bigger multi-year pattern in the upper Midwest; later spring thaws and earlier fall deep freezes. This year I never even had a chance to bring in my garden hoses before they froze solid.
Still, this is not regarded by the media as even being worthy of note. At the same time, if we have just a single day of abnormal warm temperatures you can bet the newspapers will be awash with apocalyptic stories of man made climate change.
There is no doubt that given time these trends too will vary both upward and down in the normal cycles of constant climate change. I for one am happy that the overall ten thousand year trend is toward warming. Just 12,000 years ago my property in Wisconsin was covered by a massive glacier…
