See Senator Claims Green Energy Is Causing A ‘National Emergency’ in Australia
Australia is facing a “national emergency” of extremely high power prices due to green energy, according to an Aussie senator.
One Nation Sen. Malcolm Roberts, a former coal miner, claimed 60,000 households in the state of New South Wales needed government help to keep their electricity on due to the expense of green energy. He called for the government to scrap renewable energy targets (RET) scheme.

Officials concluded that “violent fluctuations” in the supply of wind power caused a blackout affecting 1.7 million people in South Australia in September. The Australian Energy Market Operator blamed the blackout on a wind farm that suddenly stopped providing 200 megawatts of power, destabilizing the grid.
Despite the blackout, South Australia wants to invest another $100 million into green energy.
Why are Ozzies so gullible that they allow this fraud in the name of a hate campaign against fossil fuel by greens, hijacked for profit by elites world wide, the basis of which is almost entirely false, and the supposed cure utterly and completely decirtful.
There is no runaway climate change except the fiction you get from putting the wrong assumptions into biased computer models. that the measured reality does not confirm. WRONG. Yet the assertion is used to justify a multi Trilion global subsidy fraud to generate weak intermittent expensive energy for a a quick ‘n east subsidt $, tha does almost nothing to refuce the CO2 emissions from the fossil generation that renewables must keep on the grid for when they aren’t working, most of the time, so are pointless w/o.

Energy is a commodity. Futures contracts are available to utilities. Final cost to the end user is a mix of contract price plus spot price. Spot prices matter mostly when a commodity is hard to find. Shut down fossil fueled generating stations and the Green boys make out like bandits.
