During the second round of Democratic debates on Tuesday, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) announced that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is wrong: the world only has 10 years before climate apocalypse, not 12 years.
AOC needs to get with the program.
“I’ve listened to scientists on this, and they’re very clear: We don’t have more than ten years to get this right,” O’Rourke said during the debate. He has backed up this claim by discussing the rain in Houston.

This represents an escalation from AOC’s prediction of 12 years before the apocalypse.
She claimed to recall that “every climate scientist [has been] warning people we have 12 years left to cut emissions in half before our future is irreversibly damaged.” (Not this climate scientist.)

Never mind exactly how long we have — climate apocalypse is coming, people, just elect us and we’ll stop it!
Never mind those pesky details like climate models proven wrong, the Maldives refusing to sink beneath the waves on schedule, and the fact that the 97 percent “consensus” is an outright lie.

This prediction reminds me of the old game show on saturday nights called “Name That Tune,” but in this case it’s a competition to see who can kill the world most rapidly: “I can end the world in 12 years! . . . Oh yeah? I can end the world in 10 years!”

If they are listening to them they must have the names. It seems as if the liberals are using scientists as the word from God that can not be disputed. Never mind the Oregon petition that was signed by 38,000+ scientists stating that carbon dioxide has no or very little impact on the climate.
