Trump Gave A Speech That Has The Wind Industry Terrified [VIDEO]

Wind industry officials scrambled to fend off President Donald’s criticism of wind turbines during his speech Wednesday night.

“I don’t want to just hope the wind blows to light up your homes and your factories,” Trump told supporters at a rally in Iowa. “As the birds fall to the ground.”

Trump’s comments triggered a response from the CEO of the country’s largest wind energy lobbying group, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). CEO Tom Kiernan published a series of tweets to push back against Trump’s critiques of wind power.

Wind farms kill an estimated 573,000 birds and 888,000 bats each year, according to a 2013 peer-reviewed study published in Wildlife Society Bulletin. Wind farms are projected to kill 1.4 million birds annually by 2030 as more turbines come online. The industry has taken steps to mitigate bird deaths, and points out wind turbines are only responsible for a small fraction of them.

Trump used the speech to outline a vision for energy where the U.S. uses ever source possible.

“Whether it’s natural gas, whether it’s alternative sources, we’re going to have everything,” Trump said in the speech. “We use electric, we use wind, we use solar, we use coal, we use natural gas, we will use nuclear if the right opportunity presents itself. We’re going to be strong for the future.”

After winning the 2016 Presidential election last November, Trump allegedly told British politicians that he’s “personally offended” by wind turbines and thinks they’re unsightly.

Imagine the leftstream media uproar if the North Dakota pipeline killed only a small fraction of the birds sliced and diced by just one wind farm?

That exact story happened. In the Fall of 2010, 300 ducks died at the Sycrude tailings pond in Alberta. The outcry from the left was huge: “SHUT THE TAR SANDS DOWN NOW AND PERMANENTLY !!!!! ” You can still find those writings from that time on the internet now if you search for them. And this was a one time occurrence of 300 birds.

And exactly how many birds were massacred last year by Nuke plants ?
Interruptible power killing machines . How can environmentalists stand by and watch this clear cut of birds ?
At least the oldest wind farm in Alberta is getting shut down .
Subsidized energy is a waste of resources and animal life .
It is essentially unnecessary with very few exceptions.
The bird blender industry should be very nervous they are going to be extinct in North America .

The same way liberal feminists can stand aside and observe unspeakable atrocities committed on women in the name of Sharia Law without saying a word. If it doesn’t fit with the political agenda, it’s like it never happened.

    #windpower causes <0.01% of human-related bird impacts,

Bird strikes on roads, now tell us what percentage of Golden Eagle deaths are human related.

G To answer your question is that it all has to do with money and politics these eco-wackos wont be getting any sucker cash from the usial suckers if money and politics were not involved if these same birds got oiled up the eco-wackos would be sending out their junk mail urging you to send them $500 and mail out those dumb postcards to your congress critter or misreprisentative urging them to vote america back into the Paris Accord and to oppose any fracking and oil well drilling
