On Wednesday’s edition of MSNBC’s The ReidOut, host Joy Reid closed the program by freaking out over the wildfires in Canada and suggested that U.S. oil consumption was to blame for so-called climate change and as a result, the wildfires’ heavy smog is blowing across the border into the United States. “If you woke up this morning and your lungs were burning, you had a hard time breathing, or you looked up in the sky and felt as though you were in an apocalyptic doomsday movie, you were not alone,” Reid said, closing out her show.
“Right now, more than 400 wildfires are burning across Canada, which is experiencing its worst wildfire season in history. And that smoke is billowing its way all across the United States,” she added.
According to Reid, “These kinds of weather phenomena are happening all around the globe and it’s only becoming more and more common, all because of climate change.”
She then parroted a leftist lie about a “climate catastrophe” and screeched that “many world leaders are still wary of any substantial climate action because of their unrelenting dependence on oil.”
Continuing to fearmonger about so-called “climate change,” Reid huffed: “As long as we stay addicted, they will not only get richer and gobble up more and more of our industries and our culture, we will suffer the consequences, as the planet we live on, and that our children and grandchildren will inherit, becomes even more dangerous to live in.”
“You’d think it’d be a priority to keep breathing,” she sneered.
She failed to explain how using oil to fuel our industrial economy contributes to wildfires. There have been wildfires for thousands of years, long before oil and other fossil fuels came into widespread use.

Getting right to the chase scene…. Trees are made of carbon. When trees burn carbon is released into the air. So how are these dimwits expecting us to be carbon free. These fires as well as the ones we have had in Jesrsey are natural and actually are needed to help the forest regenerate. It has been this way thousands of years before these whacko’s came to some kind of life.
Joy Reid is an idiot and anyone who believes anything she says is an idiot as well… Unfortunately, there’s a lot of people who literally belive anything they are told and that’s why people like Reid are able to keep their jobs.
