“This shit is going to kill us,” insisted actor Harrison Ford in a recent interview addressing what he calls a looming climate disaster.
The Indiana Jones and Star Wars star actor implored voters to elect politicians who won’t ignore climate change.
“The climate crisis is real — the weight of scientific evidence is overwhelming… but evidence can be ignored, it can be manipulated,” said Ford in a recent interview with TIME magazine.
“Leaders who choose to make climate change a divisive issue do it to protect the entrenched economic interests who profit from behavior that destroys our planet. It’s selfish. It’s short-sighted. It needs to stop… This shit is going to kill us.”
Ford, who is an avid climate change alarmist, went on to say that “we have people in leadership positions who refuse to accept objective science.”
“They’re robbing us of the ability to collaborate, to compromise, to move forward,” said the Frantic actor.
The Apocalypse Now actor has also lectured “people who don’t believe in science or, worse than that, pretend they don’t believe in science,” claiming that we have run out of time to save the planet from global warming.
“We are shit out of time,” said Ford, who himself flies around on his own private jet, emitting carbon dioxide.
In August, Ford flew his 19-year-old son off to college on a carbon emissions-pumping private jet. He, his son, and his wife were spotted exiting the jet in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Earlier this year — while in Mexico City to promote his latest film — the actor praised teenage climate worrier Greta Thunberg and trashed the United States, claiming that the nation has lost its “moral leadership” on issues such as improving the environment, as well as immigration policy.
Last year, Harrison Ford demanded that the world “get the hell out” of Thunberg’s way, stating that saving the Amazon rainforest is crucial to any climate change solution and that young climate activists represent the “moral army” who will make a difference.

What is it with so called celebrities? Do they think we are all ignorant because we don’t live in their make believe world? Ford was once one of my favourite actors but now he is relegated to my worst hypocrites list. The don’t do what I do but do what I say say arrogance of people like him is astounding. Seems like he and many like him think the “little people” should just jump and panic when they say so. Good luck with that you moron!
Nothing like celebrities who have a platform to speak because they are good at repeating lines that others wrote for them but are otherwise uneducated in anything to do with science lecturing us knuckle-dragger with degrees in science, math, or engineering about something they actually no nothing about.

Because they are celebrities and because, obviously, being a celebrity leads to extreme stupidity, they think we, the people, need to be told what to think and how to behave, hence the madness of the lockdown and of the masks.
Yes indeed, it is a strange thing that actors seem so many to have become climatologists. Made quite easy by their wealth and a career built out of the very world hat made them, private jets and all. And what is this about “don’t believe in science”? Is science a new religion with absolute truths? Does he not know that the observer influences and is involved with what he observes? what is the absolute position from which “science” is able to make absolutist claims? Maybe he has been in too many fantasy movies. A crystal skull may have told him things.

There is a complicated problem Harrison and his peoples in Conservation International have done in Amazon. They have blocked 1900 indigenous people from their land use (now only 9 fish/day for ejemplo) and put a Park over them. They paid 8 indigenous peoples to sign to ask for the park and now all the rest are mad. No one knows about this in the press but a lot of us have friends out there and we know what Harrison Ford doing for real, now those peoples have to hunt big animals to live and trafficking in alkaloids is their only survival, ironico because Harrison sits up in USA thinking he solving, he making worse and people suffering much much more.

Followed the above link, seems like the leftists are interfering in Brazil big time. Last time there was fires in the jungles there the President openly accused activists of lighting them so they could take control of his country, an accusation I take very seriously. Consider how much jungle has been cleared around the world to grow materials for biofuels. A really bad case of the cure being worse than the disease plus you NEVER hear that raised by leftists. A bit like a story in Australia a while back where the greenies were again accusing us of polluting our beaches. The story was of heaps of foam beads used for filling cushions etc were somehow polluting a beach. I smelled a rat and accused the lefties on line of a set up and the story disappeared never to be heard of again. Sick and tired of their lies, propaganda and the fake media like our ABC who chase every green rainbow and print or broadcast it without checking. Liars one and all.
Ford has zero climate research credentials – he’s not even a well-informed layman, he is merely spouting his own version of ill-considered alarmist headlines. Looking into things and thinking for oneself is evidently not in fashion at the moment.
