NOT many would deny that we live in a collective age of climate change hysteria where everything and anything is blamed on the miraculous abilities of trace gas ‘carbon dioxide‘. The human variety, of course.
THIS Al Jazeera article demonstrates beautifully how belief and dogma have infected much of the mainstream media and the global warming climate change orthodoxy, where groupthink doctrine insists that man-made climate change is responsible for all weather events, regardless of facts, data, empirical evidence or ‘science’.
THIS particular article also displays a troubling shift in climate change reporting where the narrative has progressed from ‘might climate change be affecting the weather?’, to ‘what impact is climate change having on X (cricket)’. There’s a big difference, with the latter presuming that man-made climate change is now a foregone conclusion…

Come on guys? How’s possible to reproduce such a shameful propaganda. You should check before reposting an article. Both links refer to tha same report. Aljazeera just picked up the secondary source that includes the statement of Trent’s Bridge Groundman as the point of this is Cricket. You don’t event check the stories you feature? Used to read your blogs but this is rediculous.
@GILLES, Point of the piece is to expose the fact that AlJazeera has not done basic journalistic fact-checking.
As evidenced by both Met Office Summer and Winter precipitation records, there is no trend in either, as CO2 has increased.
Why did AlJazeera or the “Game Changer” report not reference the full precipitation data set from 1910? Because it shows no trend and wrecks their narrative! This is deceiving.
Also, climate models and UN IPCC RCP scenarios are not evidence, they are convenient GIGO fictions/predictions to fit their disaster narrative.
