Climate hysteria is frightful, but seeing doom prophecies fail is delightful.
For those leftists who are freaking out that holiday food favorites will disappear because of climate change ruining crops (spoiler alert: fake news), they are mentally and psychologically frozen. [some emphasis, links added]
But for those leftists who are driving electric vehicles (EVs) this winter, they might find themselves freezing literally. Unfortunately, in at least one state, innocent schoolchildren are suffering the frigid effects of climate alarmist stupidity.
The reality is that there have always been periods of worse weather in many parts of the world, sometimes affecting large swathes of the globe at one time (though the concept of average global temperature is a fiction).
For instance, meteorologist Ryan Maue posted yesterday, “The Earth’s climate of the 1790s was brutal for humanity due to a mega El Niño. More than 1% of global population perished[.] The entire world was in upheaval from drought and heat waves, and even Caribbean hurricanes.”

Behind the dramatic language is the truth that the weather is by nature changeable.
Thomas Jefferson remembered that in the time of his grandparents, rivers in Virginia would consistently freeze over, but by his time, that was already beginning to cease, and now it is rarer.
Weather changes, and whether you drive an SUV or not, that will always be true.
All of which is to say you shouldn’t be shivering in your snow boots with fear because of climate alarmist nonsense this winter.
