The verb “predict” and the words ” climate models” have been inseparable. RAKOOI now says that is wrong, for decades past , and we shall use “project” from now on. Well, isn’t that special? Changes my perception completely! It’s like art, then. Climate models are art, projected into nothingness. I’ve been enlightened, but not as RAKOOI intends.
So, these people have gone from screaming, to stomping their feet, to holding their breath…. It seems our role is to be the adult parent and tell them they can’t take the grocery store candy isle home with them.
The problem is that real people in the real world just don’t see the crisis they have been proclaiming for forty years after spending trillions of taxpayer dollars. Screaming and holding your breath won’t change that.

Models don’t and can’t predict. In principle. They project.
No model knows the future of human emissions, volcanic events, or solar changes. But they do a very good enough job of projecting into the future, as my post shows. Models don’t have to be perfect

Whether or call it predictions or projections, the models are wrong. This above graph shows it very well. If they followed the most fundamental processes of science, those main stream scientists that you have so much faith in would alter the models to match the data.
This is why we call them “alarmists” . Nobody experiences the global average temperature. It’s an abstraction. The alarmists must continue to predict calamity in order to steal people’s attention.

In July of 1999, I pitched a tent north of Anchorage. I can tell you that it’s called permafrost for good reason. However, if you pave a road or pour a foundation, you’re adding a source of heat, just like the ground drained the heat from my body that July night.
The accepted value for temperature rise is one degree most places and two degrees at the poles. This sort of increase can not possibly cause the situations you are mentioning. As I have mentioned before, how can a two degree warming of temperature permit a beetle to invade an area many times colder. You are rambling, without thinking.
