What should be added to the Mauna graph is the true temperature record. That would clearly show no cause and effect.
I haven’t gone insane, but there is one thing that can be said in defense of the Paris Treaty. From the view point of those who believe in the fraud of anthropological climate change, it is the best that could be ironed out politically.
Don’t forget, that for liberals all they need is the feeling that they have done something to address a problem. That makes them feel good. It doesn’t matter that the actions they take make no difference. Now add the multiple liberal causes that are hitch hiking on the climate change movement, having the US in the Paris Treaty is very important. I won’t say stay in the treaty is important because without a super majority vote of the US Senate we have never been in it.
I don’t care about the quantity of CO2 man outputs, there’s no harm and no measurable effect. My concern is what these useless idiots legislate to steal or freedom and wealth. The Green New Deal is somewhat like the classic Milgram electric shock experiment. To achieve the goal of saving earth from “climate change” these morons have embraced Draconian solutions that if enacted would kill our economy. All without the slightest ripple in their conscience, scary isn’t it?
Why not let the liberals tackle Global Warming? It would be a scenario equal to my neighbor’s beagle chasing and capturing the Ford F350 charging down the road. What could be worse than if they succeeded? What would they turn to next to ruin our lives?

Why pick 2005 as the starting point? Since then, we suffered the Great Recession. American carbon dioxide emissions have dropped because King Coal has been dethroned by natural gas. As the economy froths, fuel use will increase.
I don’t worry about atmospheric CO2 ppm. My point is that we shouldn’t stoop to cherry picking data.
