An eco-terrorist cult that calls itself Letzte Generation Österreich (Last Generation Austria) filmed an attack by cult members on a painting in the Leopold Museum in Vienna on Tuesday in protest of life-saving fossil fuels.
The painting was displayed under a clear protective barrier.
A male cult member was seen smearing what appears to be black oil on the protective barrier over the painting Death and Life by Gustav Klimt while another male cult member glued his hand to the barrier. [emphasis, links added]
A museum staff member intervened in the attack, restraining the man who smeared the painting.
This is the latest attack on art by eco-terrorist cult members who have defaced paintings in museums in England, Germany, Italy, and Australia.
Last Generation Austria photos and video of the attack:
“URGE: Klimt’s “Death and Life” in the Leopold Museum covered in oil. People of the last generation poured oil on the Klimt painting “Death and Life” in the Leopold Museum today. New oil and gas wells are a death sentence for humanity.”

“We need immediate measures against #ClimateBreakdown NOW. Lowering the speed limit to 100km/h on highways costs nothing to implement, saves 460 million tons of CO2 per year in #Austria alone, and leads to less noise, better air quality, and safer roads. What are we waiting for?”
Excerpts from the report by the Austria Press Agency via translation:
…While the restoration team gave the all-clear regarding the picture, the damage to the glass and safety frame, as well as the wall and floor, was “evident and significant.” Hans-Peter Wipplinger, director of the Leopold Museum, described the concerns of the climate activists as justified, “but the attack on works of art is definitely the wrong way to achieve the targeted goal of preventing the predicted climate collapse”. Museums are preserving institutions and a prime example of sustainability. He appealed to the “last generation” to find other ways of making their concerns known.

I’m sorry to say: These (mostly) young people are ‘brain dead’. They are usually little rich brags who believe to be commited to a ‘just cause’.
Their factual knowledge is based on activist scientists who themselves are only looking for funding ‘their truths’ in the leftist world of the IPCC, Soros, wokeness and co. No opposing views allowed! All else is evil.
They don’t realize they are being used in a most disgusting, racist manner to tear down the walls of civilization i.e. not allowing Africans to use their abundant fossil fuels to develope their Nations; keeping them on the brim of poverty. Telling them, they must use our Wind and Solar systems as ‘we (the west) alone have the knowledge of good and bad’.
On the other hand, pleading for little changes like speed limits (why not pre-industrial speeds like 25kmh? as they don’t drive cars) and (in Germany) train tickets for 9 Euros (which they can afford without the need to work).
These “activists” only have destruction in mind to achieve their goals: Destroy pieces of art, of which they neither have knowledge, nor the capability to achieve similar. Glue themselves to these pieces of art or onto the tarmac of main streets in the (criminal!) intent to hinder persons in their work and doing in a most costly manner. I suggest, every driver take some manure along ‘as a present’ to let these nuicances know what they think of them.
Tar and feather them in situ…!
Their just rewards.
Strand them in the Wilderness for month lets see them geta a look at real nature not their fake kind
Actually I’d say to just leave them where they are once they’ve glued themselves to the wall or floor. At the very least leave them there overnight. And then the next day throw them in jail.
I wonder how long this would continue if the perps were shot and killed on site?
These galleries can afford it and if not millions of art lovers will donate.
No entry without a thorough body search. Not complicated.
Time to make these criminals pay through the nose for their crimes no matter what we might hear from the MS. Media and the sympathizers throw them into prison and have them on a Chain Gang
