Now that his son Hunter is no longer being paid all that money by Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company, former Vice President Joe Biden wants to ban fossil fuels.
At a campaign event in New Hampshire, the Democratic candidate responded to a group of climate protesters by assuring them that he too would phase out fossil fuels if elected president.
“These guys are okay,” Biden addressed a group of protesters that interrupted his speech. “They want to do the same thing I want to do. They want to phase out fossil fuels and we’re going to phase out fossil fuels.”
In September 2019, Biden made a similar assurance to another climate change activist at a rally in New Hampshire.
The activist asked the candidate, “How can we trust that you’re going to act on climate, on the climate crisis if you’re still attending fundraisers that fossil fuel executives like Andy Goldman are at?”
This was before the Democratic-led impeachment efforts raised public awareness about how much the Biden family made off of gas giant Burisma Holdings.
Biden’s proposal would cost an estimated 10.3 million American jobs, 25,000 of which would come out of New Hampshire, according to a tweet from GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
However, Iowa caucusgoers did appear to support banning Joe Biden on Tuesday night.
The candidate is now sitting at fourth place in Iowa behind Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders and Mayor Pete Buttigieg — the mayor who helped take his city of South Bend, Indiana, from the 105th-highest violent crime rate all the way up to the coveted 27th spot.
Even pathological liar Elizabeth Warren beat the former vice president in Iowa on Tuesday night.
After stepping off a private jet in Des Moines, Elizabeth Warren cowered behind another person in an effort to prevent the cameras from catching her glaring hypocrisy on fossil fuel consumption.
Democrats use fossil fuels every day but want the rest of us to live life without them.
The New Hampshire Democratic primary will take place Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Much better and easier to just get rid of Joe Biden. Fortunately, he’s doing great work toward that goal.
Can a deplorable’s comment be far off ?

I can’t stop ROFL!!!!! The biggest fossil running wants to ban fossil fuel! PERFECT!!
Good ‘ol Joe. Better to keep quiet and be thought an idiot, than open your mouth and dispel all doubt.
That donkey left the barn when Joe whispered loudly to Obama
”This is a big f***ing deal”.
I believe that Obama deliberately chose Joe, the stupidest honky at hand.
Biden is a idiot he sounds and stupid as AOC and Sanders and the first thing we do is to cut off all of Bean Brain Biden’s heating fuel He a typical member of the Stupid Jackass Party all mouth and no mind and beyond all hope of ever recovering from his democrat stupidity
An excellent example of a politician spouting nonsense to obtain power. Even someone as limited as Joe Biden understands that will not happen.
Biden has no hope of becoming POTUS IMO.
He is a moron, and is foolishly thinking he can ride the non-existent AGW wave.
You CAN phase out fossil fuels. The timeline will, most likely, take up the rest of the 21st Century to find a suitable replacement. Right now, fossil fuels provide 80% of our primary energy, meaning transportation, industrial heat, consumer goods, electricity generation & residential/commercial heating/AC, etc. You can verify those numbers on the Energy Information Admin. (EIA) website, an affiliate of the U.S. Dept. of Energy. Despite all the technological advancements since 1950, oil, gas & coals share of U.S primary energy has dropped (only) about 5%. Right now, you do not have a clean, scalable & sustainable alternative sitting on the “shelf” that meets the requisite energy imperatives of cost, density & scale. Continued VILIFICATION of energy PROVIDERS poses no solution to the energy transition challenge. I suppose I am both baffled & gravely disappointed by the total LACK of any knowledge of the energy system as espoused by these various Democratic candidates. You are not going to transform the entire U.S energy system overnite, regardless of what the Environmental NGO propaganda continues to spew out. They offer no constructive SOLUTIONS to the challenge, other than their outright contempt for fossil fuels. Somehow, this discussion needs to drastically change. Policy prescriptions like the Green New Deal promote one thing…energy POVERTY. Folks need to start educating themselves on these complex issues & trade-offs. In energy, there is no EASY BUTTON…
Unfortunately it’s not just clueless politicians but there are also so-called scientists and engineers, all of whom should know better, espouse the same nonsense. It is from these people that the politicians get their (mis)information.
