America Is In Much More Danger From Sea-Level Lies

The media will not tell you this, but China’s heavy reliance on coal and other fossil fuels is part of Xi Jinping’s grand strategy to flood U.S. ports, overwhelm river basins, and drown millions of Americans. India, too, represents an increasing threat to U.S. coastlines.

The horrific news was unveiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in its 2022 Sea Level Rise Technical Report.

The report concludes that sea-level rise driven by global climate change is a clear and present risk to the United States (the report does not address sea-level rise’s impacts worldwide).

The assumption, then, is that sea-level rise would not be occurring if there were no burning of fossil fuels – and the corollary, that it will be even worse if the world fails to kick the carbon habit.

Failure to end fossil-fuel burning, NOAA says, will cause the waters to rise up to 5 feet higher by 2100 – on top of the predicted rises.

Still a long way from drowning Lady Liberty, who however may soon be arrested and thrown into federal prison for insurrection. To those in power today, liberty threatens the state.

If NOAA is right, then, we are indeed doomed — even if the U.S. and its European allies in this “war” destroy their own economies by making energy outrageously expensive.

Thanks to coal-burning by China (and to a far lesser extent, India), America’s seashores will move inland quickly as waters rise a foot over the next 30 years. And there’s nothing we can do to stop it!

Owners of beachfront property need not fear. Auntie Kamala will gladly buy your soon-to-be-submerged property for a nickel on the dollar – or you can just donate your high-rise condo as temporary homeless housing before the waters begin to rise too much.

After all, according to the World Economic Forum, private property will be abolished within the next decade.

We know, of course, that every doomsday prediction about climate change has already come to pass. Here’s a sample:

The news is not all bad, though, While New Orleans and the entire Gulf Coast can anticipate up to 18 inches of sea-level rise, West Coast cities will enjoy having those warm Pacific waters lapping at their ankles (as little as a 4-inch rise).

Hawaiians, too, will be joyous that they may only lose 6 inches of land to climate change. Meanwhile, rising Arctic waters will open up sea lanes for Russian oil.

Perhaps and worst of all, major flooding – already a nemesis to cities built along riverbeds – will increase 500 percent.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) tells us that rising temperatures will intensify the water cycle, increasing evaporation. This, says NASA, means more frequent and intense storms along with droughts in other areas.

The coming apocalypse will be bad enough for residents of Washington State, says the Bellingham Herald.

There, the measly four-inch rise in sea level is expected to increase flooding inland as the Nooksack River’s flow into Bellingham Bay will be further obstructed by rising ocean waters.

Whatcom County officials, however, are not yet panicking! Instead, they are using $100,000 from the state’s Department of Ecology (taxpayer) grant funds on a project to guide bureaucrats in how to integrate sea-level rise into local planning efforts.

Meanwhile, the Lummi Nation’s plan of action in the event of sea-level rise is the same as it has always been: “Adapt. Move inland.”

The NOAA report is already a hot topic for “environmental justice” activists, as the predicted devastation is expected to fall disproportionately “on communities with large African American populations on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.”

This contrasts with historic flooding, which we are told: “is predominantly concentrated in white, impoverished communities.”

We are told that the major cause of future rises in sea level is climate change resulting from fossil fuel burning.

Since China and increasingly India are the chief users of coal, does this not imply that the Chinese (and Indian?) governments are contributing to racial injustice – and the future drowning of minorities — in the U.S.?

Perhaps, then, the Biden-Harris Administration finally can demand that China contribute to the massive cost for flood adaptation and infrastructure needed in America’s poorer communities.

Current and past federal disaster aid, we are told, disproportionately helps wealthier residents. But, then again, those most impacted by urban riots are also the urban poor. Funny how that did not matter during the 2020 Summer of Love.

Or maybe, just maybe, these dire predictions are just as reliable as those uttered by doomsday prophets (Al Gore comes to mind) over the past 50 years (and long before).
