Scottish Environment Link, a coalition of nine environmental groups, has said that the creation of ‘unsightly’ vehicle tracks cutting through some of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes is getting out of control.
They were complaining about tracks used by agricultural vehicles to access remote and rural land. But there were no complaints when unsightly vehicle tracks were churned out of hillsides to bring in unsightly wind turbines.
There are more than 750 wind farms in Scotland with a total of 2,000 individual turbines, and yet another 2,000 with planning consent still to be erected, so no wonder Scotland will soon be the most turbine-congested country in the world.
The tracks are still there and are needed for the vehicles necessary to service and repair the turbines.
Did the environmental groups fail to complain because they mistakenly believe that wind turbines are ‘green’ when in fact they kill bats and birds, adversely affect human health and create ponds of toxic chemicals and radioactive elements in China?

This article fails to mention the huge environmental foot print of wind turbines, massive structure and infrastructure, constant maintenance, and unrecyclable materials when they die from their all too short lifetime. Wind turbines are the least green energy on the planet.
YOU CANNOT BUILD A RELIABLE ENERGY SUPPLY FROM UNRELIABLE ENERGY SOURCES. Of course, maybe they want an unreliable energy supply, per their agenda.
