Sunday on CBS’s “Face The Nation,” Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said President Donald Trump would be open to remaining in the Paris climate accord.

Tillerson said, “The position is being led and developed by Gary Cohn over at the National Economic Council. I think if you recall, the president also said, look, we are willing to work with partners in the Paris climate accord. If we can construct a set of terms that we believe is fair and balanced for the American people and recognizes our economy, our economic interests, relative to others, in particular, the second-largest economy in the world, China.”
He added, “I think under the right conditions, the president said he’s open to finding those conditions where we can remain engaged with others on what we all agree is still a challenging issue.”

Believe half of what you see and nothing that you hear…..needs an update. If you see it on the world wide interweb, wait, wait and wait some more.
Remember, Hillary was a sure thing.
Could not agree more with Bill. These climates changes conferences are utterly futile in every respect.
I can’t understand these politicians and scientists for the love of sanity. They are so concerned about the climate that they feel it necessary to fly around the world attending these lavish conferences – contributing to the very problem that they are allegedly trying to cure.
These idiots are essentially wasting their lives on a non-problem. No matter how many agreements they make, now or in the future, it isn’t going to make any difference whatsoever to the climate.
The Globalists within the White House are starting to sprout wings .
The RINO’s have screwed the Republican Party and Trump knows they are part of the problem hence the opening for Democrats to govern with a minority . Well done McCain ! And how much of that campaign money comes from military arms lobbyist’s ?
Seven years of promises to repel and reform down the drain because of a personal grudge . That’s why the mouse that squeals
never got the cheese .
Tillerson is setting up Trump for another broken election promise . There is a reason EXXON was targeted by the extreme green and the “renewable lobby ” . Certainty .
Not quite what happened:

Bend over and drop our pants?… For what? Like Bill said, this is solely about empowering failed socialists in the name of wealth redistribution and assuaging their illegitimate claims of compassion.
Facts and reason never favor socialism, nor do history or economics. Only through media manipulation (propaganda) have they ever been able to score victories. Why would a country founded in liberty capitulate to this kind of fraud when they hold a position of power? Do this Trump and YOU’RE a loser.
Nice one, Hilary Trump. What next? Close the coal mines.
Trump waffles out on leaving the Paris Accords and this 81 year old Vietnam vet sees no reason for continuing his support. The Paris Accords will have no affect on climate. It’s sole purpose is wealth distribution. The country contributing the most wealth will be the national debt-ridden U.S.
Obama has already sent the U.N. Green Climate Fund two $500 million payments….without the consent of Congress. Whatever CO2 emissions the GCF can avert will be greatly offset by the 1600 coal-fired power plants being constructed
How is this different from what Trump has said all along which is he won’t go along with the deal unless it is good for America economically and strategically. Those are non-starters for Paris group because for the warmers, all roads must lead to sovereignty reduction and and asset transfers from America to leaders of less productive countries. I believe that saying we will consider joining under the condition that the warming group drops the tenants of it’s charter is a straw man bargaining tactic.
