The latest news today reports that Europe’s only Tesla plant, located in Grünheide near Berlin, remains closed after yesterday’s massive eco-terrorism attack by the extreme left-wing “Vulkan Group”.

The attack on a power transmission tower caused an outage at the Tesla plant and resulted in the deployment of firefighters, police, and even an explosives special unit in Grünheide.
There was also a blackout for thousands of residents in the region, according to media outlets.
Nius.de here reports the damage will run in the upper 9-digit range.
According to Nius.de here:
The fire broke out in a transformer near Gosen-Neu Zittau at around 4:50 a.m., one hour before the start of the shift. The nearby small town of Erkner and parts of Berlin were also without power yesterday, the police told Bild. And: Surrounding areas of Woltersdorf, Gosen-Neu Zittau, Freienbrink, Fangschleuse, Wilhelmshagen and Rahnsdorf were also affected by the power outage.”
The Tesla plant manager, André Thierig, said all 12,000 employees had to be sent home on Tuesday and are not expected to return to work this week.
Threat of explosives
Moreover, Germany’s online Bild reports that “the emergency crews had to withdraw when they discovered an activist tent that was emblazoned with the words ‘Explosive ordnance buried here!’ ”
The Brandenburg Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service (KMBD) had to be deployed.
Reaction from politicians was swift and harsh: “This has nothing to do with protest. These are criminals,” said Brandenburg’s Interior Minister Michael Stübgen (CDU) on the RBB program Brandenburg aktuell on Tuesday evening.
“They are criminals and we will hunt them down with all the means our constitutional state has at its disposal.”

Renewable energy increases the occurrence of power outages. When the average person thinks of an outage it is in terms of inconveniences at home. Those of us with generators can often get by with no impact other than the high cost of gas to run the generators. What most people don’t think about is the cost of industry. For industry it can be a different matter. The cost to the Tesla plant was close to a billion. In some processes if there is a power interruption the material has be thrown away and start all over again. Some long tests have to be restarted from the beginning. I’m sure people like Newsom and Biden don’t even think of these consequences when they force the use of unreliable power.
You are spot on! Rx and OTC pharmaceutical products are manufactured in validated, continuous and/or batch operations. A power outage violates validation requirements resulting in destruction of the affected product. Most product orders are over the internet, no power no order! Parts of these facilities are emergency generator supplied IT, fire systems and critical Quality systems but almost never the entire plant. Intentional, malicious power interruption is a terrorist act.
