An international opinion poll published today reveals that half of the UK population and most European citizens are skeptical about the conventional climate alarm.
Despite blanket coverage of the antics of Greta Thunberg and Extinction Rebellion on the BBC and elsewhere in the media, just 51% of Britons think that mankind is the main cause of climate change.
And as the poll reveals, a majority of Europeans, including two-thirds of Scandinavians, are dissenters from the climate “consensus.”
According to GWPF director, Dr. Benny Peiser, the general public is hard to fool:
“The public can tell when they are on the receiving end of a hard sell. The more climate alarmists scream about emergencies, the more the mainstream media shut down any dissent, the less convinced the man in the street will be.”
And although the results have been met with incredulity, according to Dr. Peiser, they merely confirm earlier polls, like the British Social Attitudes Survey, which also found that climate skepticism was thriving among the public.
As Dr. Peiser explains:
“According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), Britons are actually becoming happier and wealthier. When they are being told that there is a climate emergency, that they must tighten their belts and that nobody seriously disagrees, people naturally assume that they are being conned.”
The article implied that the poll showed most people are climate skeptics. The data presented in the article does not support this. Half of the nations have more than 50% believe there is a climate change problem and half of the nations have less than 50%. If you look at the percentage who believe in it in each nation above and below the 50% level, it is pretty even. Now consider the fact that we have had 20 years of mainstream media propaganda advancing the cause of climate which has become very intense recently. Consider that the view point and data of climate realists has been strongly censored. In light of that it is amazing that the world opinion isn’t more than 90% in favor of the climate change dogma. You can’t fool all of the people all of the time.
Was it P.T. Barnum – or a US President – who said, “You can fool all of the people some of the time, and that’s enough.”

I suspect many people are smart enough to follow the money trail. Things like the bogus Climate Change issue always have two motives, money and power. The left have the money and want all the power. I find the hypocritical behaviour of the rich and famous disgraceful. They presume we can’t see through their fake and two faced attitudes. The climate wouldn’t change like it has for over a billion years due to natural variables which completely swamp the miniscule effct of human use of fossil . fuels .
It is hard to fathom that people have been so brain washed (or stupid ) that they think by reducing a trace gas some how the planet stays in a Goldilocks zone . Yet that is the story coming from MSM and the criminal rent seekers pumping the fraud .
Remember the IPCC does not do it’s own research it relies on volunteers to comb through publications and pull out stories that favor a predetermined outcome . No one is held accountable because its a PR stunt used to validate a fraud . Even participating volunteers are aghast at the final edited versions which spin the story the way the bag men want it .

What a joke. I’m British and I’ve lived in France since 2008. I also work in the broader agriculture sector so very in-touch with climate. On both sides of the English Channel the masses are 100% aware of Climate Change and while there may be some dissent the overwhelming on-the-ground feeling is that 1. it is true, 2. we must also do something, and fast 3. anyone not convinced must be off their rocker! I find very few people who are actually concerned about or even believe in man made climate change, especially when I get done with them. The science is on the side of us skeptics.
What a shock! Well, not really. Who with half a brain can look at the world and say that we are seeing all the horrible things they keep telling us is occurring? But the so-called climate scientists like Michael Mann, the left-wing politicians, and the celebrities keep ratcheting up the “Chicken Little” dance as if we can’t see the lies.
