With Australia and the world now facing an energy crisis, suddenly nuclear is no longer a dirty word.
Increasingly, European nations are embracing it as an emissions-free option and here in Australia, the question is this: faced with soaring electricity prices and supply problems, why not seriously think about going nuclear?
Nuclear energy scares many people but are those fears reasonable? We could produce all of our energy from nuclear right now but the main obstacle is really psychological.
People have long confused nuclear energy with actual weapons. The way power plants work has nothing to do with that.

Sadly Australia is pretty much locked in to renewables. Who knows what deals are done with China who makes most of them. However new technology nuclear should be our go to energy supplier. We have abundant uranium of high grade yet we have baulked at this for years. France has led the way for years and have never issues that I have heard of. I guess the greenies rule the argument as usual.

When pondering why such an obvious benefit is demonised, it is important to consider who could possibly want low a reduction of life on Earth. The answer, of course, is the sort of people who hate life itself anyway, effectively worshipping demons and death – death, that is, for others rather than themselves.
