Arnold Schwarzenegger tried urging Donald Trump to join him in his campaign for a better environment by appealing to the president’s affinity for “winning.”
Speaking Tuesday morning at the R20 Austrian World Summit, an offshoot of Schwarzenegger’s international non-profit, the former California governor urged Trump to take more action on climate change and ditch fossil fuels, saying such an effort would result in lots of victories.
“Those of you who resist because you can’t imagine success without fossil fuels: we ask you to join us. Everyone. Also you, President Trump: Join us,” Schwarzenegger stated. “You said … you want to have so many victories that the American people will get sick and tired of winning. Well, if that’s really what you want then join us because then you will have a lot of victories.”
The R20 Austrian World Summit is a part of R20 Regions of Climate Action, an environmental organization founded by the bodybuilder-turned-actor-turned-politician. The group aims to increase the use of renewable energy sources and reduce carbon emissions around the world.
Since leaving the California governor’s mansion in 2011, the moderate Republican has become an activist against the fossil fuel industry, where his advocacy has sometimes collided with the Trump administration’s deregulation agenda. He was extremely critical of the president’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement.
Schwarzenegger revealed in a recent interview that he planned to sue oil companies for “first-degree murder” because, according to him, they knowingly kill people.
“I don’t think there’s any difference: If you walk into a room and you know you’re going to kill someone, it’s first-degree murder; I think it’s the same thing with the oil companies,” Schwarzenegger said in a March interview with Politico.
Aside from his environmental campaigning, Schwarzenegger is still relatively active in Hollywood. He was chosen as Trump’s replacement for The Celebrity Apprentice in 2015.
However, he left the show in March 2017 after failing to draw more viewers. President Trump had publicly made fun of Schwarzenegger for his low ratings. Speaking at the 2017 National Prayer Breakfast, the president asked the crowd to “pray for Arnold.”

Second hand stogie smoke is OK is it Arnie . Talk about killing people . If everyone lead Arnie’s life style the earth would be F’d .
All that Sh – Vartz – uh – Nay – G’air

And maybe NO ONE would realize

With apologies to

I can remember two cartoons that was in a news paper a few years ago one shows Al Bore with a sign reading HUG A TREE and this woman has her arms around his waist another shows this young lady say we should not invade Iraq when little oiled up Bird comes by she he yelling NUKE SADAM
Like that old bat Laurie David yelling at SUV drivers from her gas guzzling 11 MPG Limos another do as i say not as i do liberal eletists
Unfortunately winning to Arnie involves driving a Hummer , smoking
big fat stogies , and a whole bunch of other hypocrisies’ .
Nah Arnie stick to fake Hollywood movies . It’s right up your alley . You ain’t no Ghandi . What kind of pollution would there be if the world adopted Annie’s life style ?
Arnie might be well qualified to lead the Virtue Signaling liberals .
The cluster F that is now California is proof positive of the
Virtue Signaling champions which people are increasingly fed up with.
Modern enviromentalisms a form of stupidity caused a strict vegan diet watching junk like A Inconvent Truth,A Inconvent Sequeal, the 11th Hour and Before the Flood while snorting on Funny Flour and reading Silent Spring and Earth in the Balance
The root cause of this problem is the liberals have way too much influence and common people who are impacted in most cases don’t even know what is going on.
Power has always been there so it is human nature to be complacent and assume it will always be except for storm interruptions. The only thing that will keep the lights on is good management and that isn’t happening. As I posted recently, some son’s colleagues occasionally work in New Deli, India. Often they have blackouts during the business day. When this happens they haul gasoline up a number of stories by hand and run a generator so they can get back to work. This could start happening here.

I was surprised at Schwarzenegger’s friendly “come on, join our team” attitude when encouraging President Trump to join the “winning” campaign against fossil fuels.
Let’s consider some aspects of this winning campaign. There is an estimated 48,000 extra deaths from disease in Great Britain this last winter because people couldn’t afford to heat their homes adequately due to the high price of power driven up by renewable energy. Consider the 330,000 homes in Germany that have had their power cut off because they couldn’t pay the inflated energy bills. Consider the impact to the German economy that energiewende is having. Consider the carbon leak in Europe and loss of coal industry jobs in the United States. In a world where causes that everyone would agree are good but underfunded consider wasting $1.5 trillion a year on climate change. Consider the impacts that will happen if blackouts start becoming common. Consider the damage to scientific integrity that all of the fraud to support the climate change movement.
If this is winning, I sure would hate to be losing.
Opps, I included another comment in this one.
Excuse me Terminator but maybe you should live in a grass hut without any kind petroleum based products maybe when a fig leaf like Adam did and please minding your own yard before you start complaining about your neighbors yard
You first Arnold. You first. Stop murdering people with your fossil fuel use and go fossil fuel free or your no better than the people you buy your fossil fuels from.
