Disgraced New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who will officially resign Tuesday after four different women came forward with allegations of sexual assault, once said that people who are skeptical of climate alarmism have no place in public office.
Schneiderman, while addressing the York City Bar Association in 2014, said he did not believe “climate deniers” deserve a place in “public life in America.”
The Democratic attorney general of New York was referencing comments made by billionaire climate activist Tom Steyer.
“There are some people who don’t even accept that climate change is real and that human activity is causing it. We certainly need to keep challenging those people,” Schneiderman told the audience. “But I have to say, I can’t really argue with Tom Steyer’s effort to say climate deniers have no place in public life in America in 2014.”
Schneiderman, himself, no longer has a place in public life. He is resigning from his position after four women whom he was romantically involved with came forward to allege sexual abuse and harassment.
Former girlfriends of the New York Democrat have described similar stories about his behavior, recounting instances where he would slap them in the face, choke them, call them “whores” and force them to consume large quantities of alcohol.
Before getting elected as New York’s top attorney, Schneiderman served more than a decade in the state senate. Many had considered him to be a rising star in New York politics.
The loss of his attorney general’s seat may just be the beginning. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr.’s office announced Monday that they are opening an investigation over the matter.

Unrelated….??? Is it just me or what? Eric Schneiderman looks a lot like he could be rahm emanuel’s brother.
