Liberal Hollywood is once again celebrating themselves, this time on the 78th Golden Globes on Sunday night on NBC.
Outspoken lefty Mark Ruffalo won Best Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or TV Move for I Know This Much Is True and – surprise, surprise – he used the occasion to make a political statement, ranting about our “dying” Mother Earth, how we’re turning the “page on the cruel past of this nation” (presumably Trump), and the “godly light of decency is breaking through the hideous dark storm we’ve been living through.”
Ruffalo: I want to thank Wally Lamb for the beautiful story of these twins. For fractured hearts and minds, for the story of America, her brokenness and her promise, forgiveness, healing, and integration.
At 54 years it is my humble belief that what will give all this sadness and loss that we’ve all lived through meaning is our common humanity.
What connects us is greater than what keeps us apart and the more we include each other and see each other and hear each other, the faster we will heal our broken hearts and minds.
We have a dying mother, just like the mother in our story. She is Mother Earth and we must come to balance with her and honor her and she’ll heal, too.
So, let’s be courageous together, guys, and let’s turn the page on the cruel past of this nation. The good news is inclusion and justice and care for Mother Earth is breaking out everywhere. That godly light of decency is breaking through the hideous dark storm we’ve been living through.
We are all in this together. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for, so let’s do this now. I love you.

If you feel like spending your life pretending to be people you’re not, saying what the people around you want you say, backslapping others while waiting your turn to be back-slapped and looking down on lesser mortals as not worth a trip in a private jet to an elite climate gabfest, then acting is for you.
Or you could just do a real job. With a real grasp of reality.
I always love when idiot entertainers try to get all scientific. They inject their condescending attitude to try to tell us all what we should believe. Love it!
