Can someone explain why huge blocks of ice melting is bad?
There was once glaciers a mile high covering N. America and N. Europe. They melted. 6 times this cycle occurred. Humans were not around. This occurs with or without human intervention.

Of the 400 or so ppm co2 in the atmosphere (0,04%), only 12 ppm (0,0012%) are from human activities.
Can these hypocrites explain again why only our 12 ppm have such alleged effects on our planet?
Glacial melt, particularly the alpine variety in near-equatorial regions is the biggest charade in the global warming playbook. Glaciers are designed to go into demise. They form at or near the peaks of tall mountains and slide downslope. This downward motion takes the volume of ice from altitudes where temperatures are often sub-freezing year-round to lower altitudes where temperatures may be above-freezing most or even all the time. No wonder the tongues of these features melt! Now, glacier behavior is a function much more of available moisture than local temperatures. Of specific interest about low-latitude alpine glaciers is that they tend to build up only during warm months of the year because during winters, the air is too cold to yield snowfall. As years vary, so does the weather patterns and when moisture is low for years, glacier development also slows, but they still advance downslope. In these cases, it may look like the glacier is suffering from a fever, but in reality, it’s just moisture-starved and there is nothing about global warming that relates to any of this activity.
Yes. Ice caps and glaciers form when snowfall exceeds ice melt.
Moisture at high altitude is necessary to make snow. and the melting occurs at lower altitudes. It’s more complex than the alarmists admit. Back in the early ’90’s I saw a CBC twit point up a bed of rocks toward a glacier, and declare that the glacier should be where he was standing.
When did this Glacier start receding??. It’s remote so the glaciers closer would be melting too or does climate change pick & choose spots to melt. By looking at the land there it would have started to receed centuries ago.
