The usual criminals in the press are claiming record-breaking heat in the Arctic and in Texas.
The Texas heatwave hasn’t even been in the ballpark of the 1980 heatwave, when the Dallas/Fort Worth area had 51 consecutive days over 100 degrees, averaged 105 degrees, and topped out at 119 degrees on June 26, 1980.
The number of 100 degree days in the Dallas/Fort Worth area has been average for June and July (nine days) so far. The frequency of 100-degree days has declined sharply since the 1950s when over 100 degrees was typical.
As far as the Arctic is concerned, temperatures near the North Pole have been consistently below normal for the past two months.

Arctic sea ice volume is fourth highest in the last 15 years and is declining very slowly.
Hot weather is not uncommon near the Arctic Circle, which receives more solar radiation than any place else on Earth at mid-summer.

The climate alarmists, er scientists, and their sycophants in the MSM count on the ignorance and/or lack of memory for these stories to work. Tony, you keep highlighting the facts which unfortunately are not making it into the consciousness of the average American since the MSM won’t publish the facts. We had a similar story over the weekend that here in the Denver area are getting more heat due to (wait for it…) climate change.
And back in 1896 no one had any of those Air Conditioners that the Useless Nations and John Kerry claimed was more dangerous then the terrorists and there were no cars no running water and no relief from the heat and there as least no Enviromentalists idiots like Greenpeace,NRDC,EDF,Friends of the Earth and No PETA jerks either
