From The Hill:
President’s Trump’s deputy national security adviser reportedly gave the president fake information, leading to a crackdown at the White House.
K.T. McFarland handed the president a printout of two covers of Time magazine, Politico reported, citing four White House officials familiar with the matter.
One of the covers appeared to be from 1970 and issued a warning of a coming ice age. The other cover was from 2008. That one was about surviving global warming.
But the cover from 1970 was fake and part of an Internet hoax, according to Politico.
One official tried to defend McFarland’s error.
“While the specific cover is fake, it is true there was a period in the 70s when people were predicting an ice age,” an official told Politico.
“The broader point I think was accurate.”
After the incident, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus warned senior staff not to try to slip information to the president, according to the news outlet.

To mock a dumb Time magazine ad they put on TV a few years ago TIME LIES AND YOU ARE THERE TIME LIES AND YOU SHOULD CARE and they even print a copy TIME FOR KIDS to lie to them as well
Got to give credit to Time ‘s survival considering the complete whiffs it makes .
Desperate times call for more fake news .
Time magazine has lies to its subcribers too many times and frankly maybe we need to boycott them after all this liberal wag named Hitler as their 1938 Man of the Year and has lied about climate Change
