Thirty years ago, NOAA said most global warming occurred between 1881 and 1919 – and that Earth cooled from 1921 to 1979.
Analysis of warming since 1881 shows most of the increase in global temperature happened before 1919 – before the more re-cent sharp rise in the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, said Thomas Karl of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C.
While global climate warmed overall since 1881, it actually cooled from 1921 to 1979. Karl said.

Now NOAA shows the exact opposite. They show earth cooling from 1881 to 1919 and warming from 1921 to 1979.

Perhaps NOAA scientists traveled back in time and took new readings.

What could possibly motivate NOAA to alter past data? The answer is simple. The unaltered data does not support the climate change movement. The fact that they see the need to alter the data presents the strongest cases against man made climate change. These people do know what they are doing. Some claim that the data needs to be corrected to make up for past errors. Three facts refute this. One, the data was fine for decades and only when it became obvious that it didn’t support the climate change movement was there a need to change it. Second, the changes almost exclusively add support to this movement. If this was being done for legitimate reasons some of the changes would give less support to the movement. Third, the extra cold winter of 2017 has been erased from the temperature records and replaced with those of a typical year. This shows NOAA’s practice of doing everything they can to support the political cause.
