The data tampering by NOAA is very disturbing on a number of levels.
President Trump has not put an end to it. This shows a lot of incompetence.
It reduces the integrity of the United States to that of a corrupt third country. This is easily understood. The green left is completely devoid of integrity, so we can expect them impart that on any agency that they are in control of.
The altered data is often used to set policies of states and under Obama the United States. I can not remember her name, but one democratic congress woman acknowledged that the tamping existed. She said that we should ignore that the data was tampered with and use it to set national policy.
They need to fire all those involved in the data tampering
I was prompted, by a comment posted here last week, to find out more about the claims of record wind speed and gusts during hurricane Michael.
Most of them are deduced from the hurricane hunter aircraft. Tyndall AFB recorded a maximum gust of 127mph, the highest ground – based reading I’ve seen. The explanation is that ground – based anemometers can’t handle Cat 5 winds, fail, lose power supply, etc.. How can they ignore this discrepancy between modern aircraft using gps technology and historical data? Surely weather stations failed fifty or a hundred years ago. What records did they miss?
The damage pictured on TV, ad nauseum, is from the storm surge. People will rebuild on the same spot.
