Natural disasters generally bring out the best in people.
It brings them together in a spirit of common cause without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin — unless the person at risk is a well-known conservative, and the other person swings to the left.
That fact was brought home with Hurricane Dorian approaching Florida’s east coast, expecting to make landfall sometime late Sunday or early Monday.
While Floridians are busy collecting supplies or making plans to escape Dorian’s path and others are sending thoughts and prayers, some are using the impending storm to wish doom on President Donald Trump.
Canadian lawyer and politician Kim Campbell, who was the Canadian prime minister for less than five months in 1993, noticed that Dorian’s projected track appeared to be close to Palm Beach and replied, “I’m rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!”
Mar-a-Lago is the Palm Beach private club owned by the president. When he purchased the palatial estate, he shocked Palm Beach society by making club membership available to everyone — blacks, Jews, Latinos. It made no difference.
But Trump’s name attached to the estate was all that mattered to the left.
Fellow Canadian Sheila Gunn Reid, Alberta Bureau Chief for The Rebel Media, gave Campbell both barrels.

“She hates Trump so much that she wants the people who work at or live near Mar-a-Lago in the way of a Hurricane,” she replied. “Imagine being this filled with progressive bloodlust for Trump that you’d be fine with dead innocents.” She then concluded: “Former PM. Current Lunatic.”
David Leavitt, an award-winning multimedia journalist also called for a direct hit on the exclusive club, and essentially blamed Dorian on Trump.
“Trump: Climate change is a hoax,” he tweeted. “Here’s a Category 4 hurricane with 130+ mph winds aimed right at Mar-a-Lago, with my compliments.”
After being hammered on Twitter for her classless tweet, Campbell also brought climate change into the equation.
“As there are in Puerto Rico- sorry you don’t get snark- but Trump’s indifference to suffering is intolerable!” she said. “Wd also help if he tackled climate change which is making hurricanes more destructive! Instead, he will remove limits on methane! Get a grip!”
She’s correct that the Trump administration announced plans Thursday to relax regulation on methane emissions, but that didn’t contribute to Dorian’s fury. Moreover, Florida hurricanes have become less frequent, according to a report by The Economist.
In addition, the World Health Organization proclaimed that the United States was one of the cleanest countries on the planet.
But the issue isn’t really Mar-a-Lago, global warming, or hurricane Dorian. It’s Donald Trump.
Although liberals and Democrats profess to place peace above war, passivity over aggression, diplomacy above military, with Trump all rules change — and that’s extended to all conservatives and Republicans.
- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., told NBC’s Seth Meyers that “my testosterone sometimes makes me want to feel like punching” the president.
- Former Vice President Joe Biden said, “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of” Trump.
- Former pop artist Madonna announced at the 2017 Women’s March that she “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”
- Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin said, “We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party.”
- The late actor Peter Fonda suggested that someone rip the president’s son, then-11-year-old Barron “from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles.”
- Actor Robert De Niro called the president a “punk” and an “idiot” and added, “I’d like to punch him in the face.”
- Actor Johnny Depp asked a cheering crowd, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?”
- Comedienne Kathy Griffin published a photo of her holding a facsimile of the president’s bloody, severed head.
- Rapper Snoop Dogg has published several mock Trump assassination videos, as well as an album cover featuring a Trump corpse.
There’s no question that Trump’s rhetoric can be incendiary, his tweets divisive. Accordingly, he’s often his own worst enemy. Although the president has accomplished much during his short tenure, he could have done much more had he practiced diplomacy.
But the rhetoric is nothing as compared to what he gets in return. I didn’t care for Barack Obama at all as a president, but I never wished him harmed or dead, or for anything to happen to his wife or children.
And more than that, natural disasters should bring us together as a people — including those of opposing political views — not tear us apart.

Just more names of celeberties to add to the Boycott List plus Biden and Booker who should be voted clean out of office
Kim Campbell is a classless ass . She shows once again why she was a prime minister for a whopping 5 months .
When politicians , even ones who never got off training wheels , act against the interests of the country by making death threats or other wishes of destruction they should lose their fat pension .
One thing about Campbell no Hurricane is going to blow her over , a five month Prime Minister who is now working on her third husband. Gee what a surprise .
Let’s hope for the best for the people of Florida which incidentally include thousands of Canadians .
Campbell hung out in LA on the Canadian tax payer dime so that sheds some light on her political bias .
The same crowd of stinkholes who say this vile stuff should all be put on Boycott List and Joe the Schmoe Biden can go and soak his head Liberals are vile dirtbags
