Joe Bastardi is one of our favorite meteorologists and a prominent skeptic of human-made global warming.
Bastardi has appeared on the Fox News’ Tucker Carlson show and he’s very good at explaining complex things in layman’s terms.
Here he joins Deprogram with Michael Parker on TNT Radio.
Bastardi is one of the most experienced meteorologists in the world today. His knowledge of past major events puts in perspective the extreme weather events seen today, that they are nothing new, and are used to justify spending trillions of dollars.
Of course, the climate is changing, and with the many natural influences constantly in play, it always will.
Thanks to an ever-fluctuating level of activity in the large natural drivers that have always controlled it, such as our Sun, the oceans, stochastic events, and the very design of the system itself, climate change is natural.
He discusses the climate emergency that was just enacted in South Australia and how he expects it to come to more Western nations. He hopes he’s wrong.

Joe Bastardi may have a degree in metrerorolgy,k but so do I and I have been involved with data gathering and analysis since ’60 when I was associated with the UK’s MetOffice. Since then I have been involved in actual weather forecasting and was one of the pioneers of weather routing.
He believes the world was warmer in the 1930s than today, it wasn’t, as any competent meteorologist knows.
He claims the human contribution of CO2 is too small to have any effect, which proves he is a science illiterate, or something.
Not to mention that warming is caused by sunspots, to some extent it is, but sadly for Joe the numbers disagree.
As for his exchange with warmer oceans, which is so risible as to be the product of a tormented mind. Think about it. It’s sim-[ple maths.
“climate change is natural.” Of course it is, which is the very, very simple reason different terminology is used. That a scientist, a meteorologist is not aware of that is somewhat disturbing, to say the least.
@ Davis Boffey…. I do a yearly forecast for my area. Yes, make only one every year to cover the entire year and therefore cannot make changes every couple of hours like balloon heads like you, yet people consider it quite remarkable for it’s accuracy.
CO2 is a TRACE element in the atmosphere. It is a rather heavy element as opposed to the much lighter H2O water vapor molecules and so has nothing to do with the weather oscillations in the upper atmosphere that steer our lower weather systems.
Water vapor is by far the largest greenhouse gas in the atmosphere by volume and is instrumental in keeping the Earth’s climate as stable as it is.
You claim to know weather? You apparently do not even know what runs the atmospheric tides that produce the weather we get and why it changes from year to year. HINT… H2O pulled by tides from sun and moon… makes each year and series of years different. You sir are a fraud.
So why is it you deniers get so much airtime and kilometres of print? The only ones being silenced are those posting facts on deniers’ sites, with this one being the exception, so far.
People who believe Earth is flat make the same claim as you, I wonder what the connection is?
