The United States should feel ashamed because Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has adopted the Democrat Party’s Green New Deal plan after our own Senate voted it down.
To save the planet from burning up by another 1 degree Celsius in 50 years, Maduro has introduced a rationing plan that will reduce his nation’s carbon footprint to a carbon toeprint.
The Associated Press reported, “Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced a 30-day plan to ration electricity as nationwide power cuts continue.”
Bravo. It is good to see a president take charge. While most of the nation’s electricity is hydroelectric, dams damage the environment.
The AP reported, “Maduro said Sunday on national television that the plan will help deal with the outages that have also cut off water supply and communications for days at a time.”
Meanwhile, American Airlines has discontinued flights to Venezuela. This, too, will help Maduro implement his Green New Deal.
Now if he could only figure out a way to regulate cow farts, he would be the biggest environmental hero since Al Gore.

There’s no excuse for what is going on in Venezuela.
Venezuela has the greatest oil reserves in the world – 297
billion barrels. Their population is 32 million. The average
monthly salary is £188.
Saudia Arabia has 268 billion barrels of oil. Its population is
33 million. The average monthly salary is £2,239.
The final nail in the economic coffin…
AOC must idolize Maduro. Too bad we all have only 12 more years to live.
.
There’s something wrong with Venezuela itself. I was on vacation there about the time Hugo Chavez was elected. Riding in a taxi, I noticed that gasoline was cheap as water, but most cars were on cement blocks. I asked the cabbie how could this be so? You’re floating on oil, the Arabs are rich, what is wrong here? He replied that “it’s one crooked leader after another. They all leave as billionaires.”
Venezuela has stooped to socialism as a solution. They may as well have bought a ticket on the Titanic, looking for a better life.
I say: let them try it. Let them ruin their economy even further.
But: can they adopt AOC too?
Oh, he’s not implementing anything remotely like the GND. Instead he’s trying to convince the citizens of Venezuela that the problems created by his communist policies are actually good for them because of the scam of AGW. So it’s a scam on top of a scam.
too bad this didn’t come up on April 1st
