Jeremy Corbyn will nationalize all of Britain’s energy companies in order to avoid the “climate catastrophe” threatened by global warming, the Labour leader said. Corbyn used his appearance at his party’s “alternative models of ownership” conference in central London, to promise that he will buy up Britain’s entire energy network. “The challenge of climate change requires us to radically shift the way we organize our economy,” he said. —Business Insider, 10 February 2018

There are many scientific agreements and disagreements in climate science. While there is general agreement about the modern global warming trend (since 1850), scientific controversies increase as climate research moves further back in time, and predictions move further into the future. Climate realism acknowledges the significant difference between verifiable and replicable knowledge and hypothetical knowledge based on indirect evidence. —Global Warming Policy Foundation, 19 February 2018
We were able to prove that the sea level in Fiji from 1550 to about 1700 was about seventy centimeters higher than it is today. Then it sank and was about fifty centimeters lower in the 18th century than it is today. Then it rose to about the current level. In the last 200 years, the level has not changed significantly. For the past 50 to 70 years, it has been stable. —Basler Zeitung, 1 February 2018
Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of Britain’s Labour Party, has set out his vision for nationalizing the UK energy sector. Rather than returning to Attlee’s centrally controlled system, he seems determined to steer energy provision, particularly the electricity industry, back towards a form of distributed generation and Municipal Trading that would in practice be an even more complex and intrusive form of administration than that undertaken during the post-war era. This is a hazardous undertaking. —GWPF Energy, 18 February 2018
Radicals
Radicals bring about their own demise. Brexit, Margaret Thatcher and Donald Trump were voted in as responses to socialist over reach. If they weren’t in such a hurry, fewer people would notice the Socialists’ incompetent management.
Exactly how many Socialists have ever AVOIDED a disaster by nationalizing industry?
May be we should get his brother to have a work with him, to set him straight!
If Jeremy Corbyn is successful in nationalizing Britain’s energy industry this would be a huge success for the climate change movement. One of its hidden agenda’s is destroying free enterprise.
There would definitely be a catastrophe but it would not be from the climate. Take the disaster of Germany’s energiewende then compound that with the inefficiencies of government running the industry, the result would be scarce power but that wouldn’t matter because it would be so expensive that no one could buy it.
Liberal democrats would just to to nationalize all our energy producers and put them all under the Useless Nations control we all know by now that liberal democrats want Big Goverment
