Ireland has declared a climate emergency, with Climate Action Minister Richard Bruton calling climate change the greatest challenge mankind is facing.
ITV quoted the minister as saying, “We’re reaching a tipping point in respect of climate deterioration. Things will deteriorate very rapidly unless we move very swiftly and the window of opportunity to do that is fast closing.”
The move, which followed cross-party support to amendments to a climate action report drafted by the country’s parliament, made Ireland the second country in the world to declare a climate emergency after the UK.
In the latter, the declaration followed crippling environmentalist protests in London that paralyzed parts of the city.
In its wake, an independent, government-appointed Committee on Climate Change recommended to the government such measures as reducing the consumption of meat and dairy products, changing the way farms do business, and making electric cars the only cars that people can buy starting in 2035.
By 2050, according to the panel, the country should be greenhouse gas emission-free.
It looks like climate emergency declarations could become a trend: hours after media reported the Irish parliament’s vote for an emergency, the New Zealand Vegan Society issued a call for the government to declare a climate emergency.

“New Zealand is woeful in its protection of the environment, with many rivers and waterways polluted, in part due to excess dairying in particular regions. It shows that we are simply not doing enough to protect our part of the world,” the call read.
“It is the next biggest inconvenient truth… eating animals is causing habitat loss, driving climate change and the 6th mass extinction wave. What can we do? The answer is simple: go vegan and plant trees!” said a Vegan Society Aotearoa New Zealand representative, Claire Insley.
It is likely that more activism will follow elsewhere, and if persistent enough it would lead to more climate emergency declarations.
The question remains, however, whether declarations would spur enough effective-immediately legislation that could affect a comprehensive energy demand change in whole nations.
Meanwhile, new renewable energy capacity additions have stalled, with growth in 2018 flat on the year, according to new figures from the International Energy Agency.

According to the Irish Times, on the 20th of November 2018:-
“Carbon tax will have to increase substantially – from €100 per person a year to €1,500 a year – if Ireland is to meet legally-binding targets on reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, according to ESRI projections.”
[ESRI stands for Economic and Social Research Institute.]
Once you understand this, it becomes crystal clear why this ignorant charlatan, Richard Bruton (so-called Climate Action Minister) is jumping up and down calling climate change: “the greatest challenge mankind is facing”.
The “greatest challenge” Bruton himself is facing is attempting to extort 15 times more carbon tax out of the Irish people than he’s been doing up to now!
Hence the declaration of a false “Climate Emergency” – to scare the bejeezus out of the Irish people before taking them to the cleaners for their money.
If you are ever in doubt about political decisions – especially climate decisions – in order to discover the truth, just follow the money, honey!
In the $1.5 annual climate change fraud developments can be looked at in different categories. One is political. As far as the political goes, the movement is making significant advances. First the UK and now Ireland have declared climate emergencies. This had been pushed by demonstrations such as those by the extinction rebellion that are obviously under centralized planning and control. Many states and most US Democratic presidential candidates support the most extreme measures on climate change. Another category is the fraudulent science that supports the political movement. IPCC is using reports with conclusions that are not even justified by its own data to push for the most radical political action. Another category is the average citizen. Poll after poll have shown this group is split between not willing to spend anything for the climate change cause to others that are will to spend a small amount. This same attitude refers to impact on life styles. Yet, the actions called for in the political area call for huge impacts to the common citizen in both cost and reduction of life style. Most are not even aware of what is coming and will not be until they have to start paying the costs. Then we can expect a reaction like we have had in France. The last category that I’ll mention is pretty much ignored. This is the real science that explains what is happening with the earth’s climate. It shows the carbon dioxide has little impact and that there is close correlation with temperature history and solar output. My guess is that unfortunately these different areas will continue to march on with one have little influence on another.

Ireland’s man-made CO2 comprises a huge one five-hundred-thousandth of the total CO2 in the atmosphere.
Bruton is not very bright – everyone in Ireland knows that.
The Luddites are laughable. Ancient grain revivalist, anti – GMO, organics, free – range eggs, vegetarians re-labelling themselves as vegans, kale, grain -free pet food, blah blah blah.
