In The Climate Debate, It’s Either Fake News, Biased News, Or No News

Take your pick. The Mainstream Media (MSM) are using all three to stifle debate on climate change just like the current presidential election. What has happened to the American news media in this country?

I can remember a time when the MSM would do a story and would give you both sides of the issue and let the viewer decide what to think.

It’s amazing to see a business so willing to undermine its own credibility to push a certain narrative thinking everybody is stupid and will buy whatever they say.

In the case of the climate change issue, they even went as far as announcing no more so-called climate skeptics would be invited on their shows to give other opinions as is the case with NBC’s Meet the Press for example.

So much for a fair and balanced debate. Oh! I forgot. According to them, the science is settled. By who? That phrase the science is settled is the first clue that tells you a scientist is probably not a real scientist.

Real scientists know that new methods, learning, tools, ideas, and experiments will come about that will change our current knowledge and understanding of many scientific issues.

The MSM are even willing to lose viewers by lying to them. Look how foolish they looked when all this Russian collusion with the president turned out. Many viewers left after they found out they were being lied to.

Look what’s happening now as people start checking the facts on their own about climate change. They’re seeing that they are being lied to once again.

It’s probably why in many polls, the American people rank climate change near the bottom of what worries us, and why trust in the media is so low.

The media obviously has to get in line with the climate alarmists or be called out. I get an endless stream of climate alarmists’ headlines in my news feeds nearly every day.

They must have a whole army of reporters to keep the stories coming. Just a small hint for these news organizations–the stories are getting tiring and boring. People are becoming numb to them which is a good thing.

I remember a particular reporter at NBC named Anne Thompson who covered environmental issues. Everything she covers seems to be threatened by melting, in danger like the polar bears, in a drought, flooded, going to be swallowed up by the sea, burning up, or getting blown away.

I realize to get viewers the MSM likes to sensationalize, overdramatize, and stretch the truth. But they like to leave out actual facts, silence other opinions, and sometimes outright lie which is pretty sad.

Not to be left out are the big tech/social media companies.

Many of these companies have lied repeatedly about violating people’s privacy. Some also stifle free speech and censor people who don’t agree with them or their political allies.

All of this does not help the country having all available information so as to come up with a viable solution to a problem whether it’s climate change or other important issues that affect all Americans.

No wonder there’s so much division in the country today. By suppressing opposing opinions they’re doing a great disservice to the country.

Just recently to get on the good side of lawmakers Facebook has teamed up with a company called Climate Feedback to “fact-check” the climate articles shared on its site.

This company seems to be one-sided when it comes to climate change information. Check it out for yourself before you believe what you read on a so-called Facebook fact-checked article.

Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, there was a senate tech hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and were questioned on speech moderation policies. Senate democrat Chris Coons had a shocking and unbelievable exchange with Jack Dorsey.

He asked Mr. Dorsey why Twitter does not have a standalone climate change misinformation policy.

Mr. Dorsey said, “Well, misleading information, as you are aware, is a large problem. It’s hard to define it completely and cohesively.”

And after some more statements, Senator Coons comes back and says, “I’ll close with this. I cannot think of a greater harm than climate change, which is transforming literally our planet, and causing harm to our entire world. Helping to disseminate climate denialism, in my view, further facilitates and accelerates one of the greatest existential threats to our world.”

Well, I had no idea Senator Chris Coons was a climate scientist. That was a surprise to me. For a sitting senator to be asking big tech to outright censor people who question global warming/climate change is shameful.

Anybody serving in congress who wants to shut down an opposing view on any issue should be asked to step down from his or her position. This is not how issues get solved.

As climate change starts to take center stage the phrase climate change gives alarmists a chance to tie any weather event and even non-weather events to their cause. Check out this huge list.

It has been reported many times that this isn’t about saving the world but controlling the world and its populations by certain elite people in power.

They cannot wait to get their hands on other people’s money for their own use which is part of what socialism is all about. I cannot even begin to imagine the amount of fraud this will lead to.

Recently, Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, a former papal ambassador to the United States, in an open letter to President Trump, warned of a plan by Globalists to exploit the coronavirus pandemic.

He warned the pandemic was being used to usher in a “world government” stripping people of their freedoms.

He also said in his letter, “Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021.”

He went on to write, “For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a second and third wave of the pandemic.”

He is apparently right-on with his prediction because on Sept. 29, 2020, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, speaking at a U.N. conference, said the following: “This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a Reset. This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to re-imagine (whatever that means) economic systems that actually address global challenges like extreme poverty, inequality, and climate change.”

Thankfully, the U.S. got out of the Paris climate agreement or billions of dollars would be sucked out of our country every year.

In the meantime, the biggest polluter China gets off the hook for many years while still building coal-fired powerplants. Everyone seems afraid to confront China except our current president.

And did you know that when our president announced he was going to pull the U.S. out of the Paris agreement, a country cannot formally begin to withdraw until three years after the agreement went into force? For the U.S. that is Nov. 4, 2019.

It then takes exactly one more year for the withdrawal notice to become official, meaning the U.S. is now out of the agreement as of Nov. 4, 2020.

However, any signatory that withdraws from the agreement can apply for re-admission to the United Nations and can be back in within 30 days. So, let’s see, it takes years to get out but only days to get back in. (How convenient)

Speaking of the Paris agreement, the current 2020 election results leave progressives/socialists in charge of the house of representatives. Biden, who may become president, has said on day one of his presidency he would re-enter the U.S. into the Paris agreement.

So, I thought I would help him and his congressional green new deal lawmakers by giving them some bills they could start passing at the beginning of their new term. How about the following:

1) The unaffordable Green New Deal.

2) Help the globalists get rich at our expense act.

3) The unreliable green energy act.

4) The end of the world that never happens act.

5) Trust us we will never lie to you act.

Just a few free-of-charge suggestions by a concerned and helpful citizen.

In the meantime, our planet is in good shape and will be for longer than we can comprehend without all these drastic measures the alarmists blather on about. All is well climate-wise.
