File this one under “why didn’t I think of that.” We at CO2isLife have made countless posts about how the ground measurements are corrupted beyond repair due to the Urban Heat Island Effect and atmospheric water vapor.
In fact just yesterday we were writing about it.
Isolating the Impact of CO2 on Atmospheric Temperatures; Conclusion is CO2 has No Measurable Impact
Up until now, however, all people could do was to document the problems and post comical images about the issue. (Source)
Now someone has discovered a simple, effective, and inexpensive way to quantify the problem. Thermal imaging the area around the measuring units/Stevenson Screens.
For a whopping $249 anyone can document the thermal image of a Stevenson Screen. (Source)
Congress, NASA, and NOAA now have a way to document and quantify the impact of the Urban Heat Island Effect on the ground measurements.
My bet is NASA and NOAA will avoid documenting this issue so Congress will have to force them to do so.
The fact that NASA and NOAA haven’t already thought of this idea proves that they are either incompetent or corrupt, and neither is acceptable.
These images are pretty damning for the ground measurement crowd.
More on this topic (Source)
My bet is that NASA and NOAA won’t be in any hurry to ensure the integrity of their Stevenson Screens simply because they aren’t interested in the truth.
They will continue to claim their “adjustments” are the best way to address the issue.
That, of course, is absurd when you have a physical way to actually measure the impact.
No real scientist would accept an estimate over an actual direct measurement.
As the following post details, the actions of guilty people often give away their true motives.
In this case, NASA and NOAA want to perpetuate the lie, and thermal imaging works against that objective.
Therefore they won’t act. If that is the case, Congress must force the issue.

Placing tempeture monitoring devices in a asphualt or concreat parking lot is cheating and dishonest but quit typical of these fake scientists looking to get more grant money and pushing a radical political agenda
I’m not a fake scientist seeking grant money, nor is seeking the truth a radical political agenda. I’m an unpaid blogger. Please feel free to refute any of the scientific rebuttals of CAGW we have posted on our blog. If it is nothing more than a radical political agenda you should not have trouble exposing that fact. Please pay special attention to the ones focused on isolating the impact of CO2 on atmospheric temperatures. I would love to see you debunk those arguments.
