Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg took to Twitter on Halloween to mock her detractors by posing as herself – saying she terrifies her critics.
The teenager, who has left school to travel the world preaching her message of climate salvation, said she scared “a bunch of angry climate crisis deniers” without having to dress up.
Posing in a black-and-white photo with her trademark “school strike for climate” placard, she tweeted she did not celebrate Halloween in Sweden but “thought I might give it a try’” if it meant she could affront her critics.
Thunberg sailed to North America on a carbon fiber racing yacht in August as she refuses to fly on jet planes.
She was due to attend an environmental summit in Chile next month, but the conference has been put on hold amid violent protests in the country.
“I’ve been making my way through the North American continent towards Santiago, but as COP25 will be moved I will now wait until I have more information,” she said.
Thunberg will instead be the main speaker at a rally in Los Angeles on Friday, she confirmed on Twitter:

Last week Thunberg took aim at her opponents in a different way, threatening to quit Facebook if the social media platform refuses to silence her critics, as Breitbart News reported.
“I am, like many others, questioning whether I should keep using Facebook or not,” Thunberg wrote in a Facebook post last week.
“Allowing hate speech, the lack of fact-checking and, of course, the issues of interfering with democracy… are among many, many other things that are very upsetting.”
“The constant lies and conspiracy theories about me and countless others, of course, result in hate, death threats and ultimately violence. This could easily be stopped if Facebook wanted to. I find the lack of taking the responsibility very disturbing,” she added.
As well as scolding Facebook for having the temerity to host opposing argument, the pig-tailed activist last month warned the United Nations to step up its climate work, telling 60 world leaders to heed her lecture because “her generation would never forgive them if they failed to combat climate change.”

People are critical of her because we can all see that she is just another spoiled little rich girl, complaining about things she can’t possibly understand, and trying to make the world feel sorry for her for having her childhood “stolen.” She is 16, and well past childhood, so I don’t know how she can think that anything was stolen from her. If anything, it is HER kind, the super-wealthy elite, who are ravaging the planet and destroying children’s lives. She is part of the problem. She, of course, will never, ever admit this.
While it may be true that she is just being used (i.e., a useful idiot, in Lenin-speak), I could never abide busybodies and self-anointed world improvers of her ilk. I don’t care if she’s only 16 – I find her whole shtick utterly revolting.

I look at any photo of Greta Thunberg and I just a pathetic kid who has been grossly misled by a small crowd of power-hungry adults who somehow see nothing wrong with abusing her sensitivities. Greta has become so intensely embittered over this topic, based on completely false information, I suspect she’ll never have a chance to evaluate what the truth is throughout the rest of her life. It’s such a shame. This same thing is happening to many youth all over the world in a much less highlighted manner.
Greta is probably just a nice kid . It’s her handlers who cowardly hide behind a teenager while they use her to sell their agenda.

CO2 in the atmoshere has been more than double before humans used fossil fuels . Is their any dispute of that ?
So what caused the massive drop in CO2 to the point plants were almost starved of essential CO2 ? Natural variables changed the climate, reducing CO2 from over 1000 ppm to around 200 ppm before recovering to under 500 ppm with the added CO2 from human use of fossil fuels making a contribution .
There is a net benefit of higher CO2 levels and the proof is a greening earth visible from space . If Greta is having bad dreams why are her handlers not showing her readily available pictures ?
Yes climate changes , of course it always does , and we are having a small mainly positive impact .
Why not focus the limited resources on cleaning up rivers and oceans
instead of the self serving con game by globalist activists and rent seeking
BS artists?
Think about what they are pitching . Cut CO2 from human sources and we control the earths temperature . Now that is a denier …. of the truth .
Greta is being used .
I have a couple thoughts which I have not seen explored in any of the media coverage on Ms. Thunberg. First, a “carbon fiber” boat and probably every accessory on it is made out of PETROLEUM. In addition, the manufacturing process for that carbon fiber boat is subject, to my knowledge, to a very carbon INTENSIVE manufacturing process. Only the very WEALTHIEST person could afford such a vessel, so that does not seem very “consistent” to me with the anti-fossil fuel dogma. On top of that, I’ll bet they (most likely) had a diesel support/supply vessel traveling across the Atlantic as a protective measure. That would make it a much LARGER carbon footprint than simply flying “coach” with her entourage across the pond. I could be WRONG, but I like my chances…
If it wasn’t for this article I would not even think about this parasite on our society. So she is not “affronting” me. She could go away without a trace and I wouldn’t notice.
Is there any reporting regarding how greta is traversing the United States if she is eschewing jet travel? Apparently she is now in Los Angeles, nearly 2500 miles from NYC, so did she hike through all the recent snowstorms in the middle of the country to get there?
She is undoubtedly lying about this, too, in addition to everything else. I doubt that she has Asperger’s Syndrome, as has been claimed; her mother may have made it up to gain more sympathy. I could be wrong, but there are so many lies surrounding this girl that I don’t believe anything her owners say about her
