California gubernatorial candidate Michael Shellenberger laid out his plans for the Golden State on ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,’ revealing the lies being spread by its current governor.
On Monday, Newsom started running an ad that showed him walking through a burned-up forest, claiming to care about the truth as he spews lie after lie.
Shellenberg noted that Sacramento’s NPR affiliate exposed how Newsom cut the state’s budget for forest fire prevention, lied about it, and then blamed everything on climate change.
In contrast, Shellenberger has been fighting to save California’s forests for over 25 years, including the Redwood forest Newsom used as an advertorial backdrop.

He explained to Carlson how Gavin Newsom created California’s “intertwined energy and wildfire crises” by slashing the budget for forest-fire prevention, then blamed the fires on climate change as a strategy to deny his role, demonizing his political opponents and feeding climate anxiety.
Shellenberger pointed out that he has also “pushed back against irresponsible disinformation” claiming people won’t survive climate change.
“Whenever something goes wrong because of his policies, he looks around for somebody to blame, and when there’s nobody there for him to blame, he blames climate change,” he said.

I have enormous respect for Micheal Shellenberger. His book APOCALYPSE NEVER is a “must-read” for anyone who seeks the facts on climate change, among other issues…..
If Michael was to become governor of CA, that state would go-head in leaps and bounds. Guaranteed !!
