Sonnyhill, you’re regurgitating something incorrectly. Weather is a sub set of climate. Weather trends such as we’ve seen in the last three years would tend to indicate a cooling of the climate. The earth is now cooling.
I’m reacting to something that I saw on The Weather Channel. They dutifully reported on the National Climate Assessment ,then segued into the current weather forecast , record – breaking cold all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. The weather bunny felt it necessary to explain that “weather is different from climate “.
Does the average person have the attention span to follow trends over several years? I doubt it. The perception is that climate change reveals itself, TO US ,through the weather we get daily. The promoters of climate change are complicit in this, when they link recent disasters to climate change.
