Jane Fonda has a message for the world.
The woman who made a splash posing on artillery with the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War announced that politicians who don’t share her views on climate change should be treated like Nazi war criminals.
Jane made the proclamation during an interview with Michael Moynihan for Viceland’s The Impeachment Show.
The controversial Hollywood legend also lumped in oil executives who enable said elected officials.
Michael asked, “So, you want to see sort of a Nuremberg trial for climate criminals?”
I’d like to point out that they hung people at Nuremberg…
Fonda’s response:
“Yeah, I would.”
That doesn’t seem to enhance the softer side of liberal politics’ trumpeting of tolerance.
Neither did the actress’s brother last year, when he offered this about a then-12-year-old in the White House:
“We should rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if mother will stand up against the giant a*****e she is married to.”
To be fair to Jane, she believes climate change is the most important issue on earth. Therefore, though Al Gore was wrong in 2006 when he said we had a decade left, and despite scientists in the 70’s warning of the coming non-existent ice age, we happen to be right at the point in time when the bell-ringers are finally right on.
Oh, and unions…:
“This is the existential issue over all of the other issues. This is the looming ticking time bomb. We have to listen to the scientists who say we have eleven years to do what has to happen. And what has to happen is we have to stop all new fossil fuel extraction. No licensing, no permitting on public lands or waters. And then we have to gradually phase out the existing extractions over 30 years and make sure the workers that depend on the fossil fuel industry not only are trained for new jobs, but that those jobs are union jobs with good salaries and benefits that allow them to support a family.”
Host Michael queried:
“You said Congress is bought off by the fossil fuel industry. If that is true, and that is true of the man in the White House is the same, what do we do? Where do we go from here?”
“Well, we get rid of them,” Jane replied.
Michael: How do we do that?
Jane: It’s too late now for moderation.
People whose actions have caused our soldiers to be harmed must be tried for crimes against humanity:
“I think that democracy is teetering on the edge of collapse … That’s why we need to go into the streets. Our government is being ruled by fossil fuel. That’s a fact that can be proven. The wars are being fought for oil. Our men and women are being killed and maimed, wounded psychologically and physically, because of oil. I mean, they should all be tried for crimes against humanity and nature.”

Let’s consider the crimes of the Nazi war criminals. For the most part they murdered people. There were about six million Jewish victims and six million non-Jews and with the discovery of additional death camps these numbers may be low. Has anyone done something similar in the climate change issue? Yes! Tens of thousands of people in the UK have died from fuel poverty deaths because they couldn’t heat their homes adequately due to the inflated costs brought on my the climate change movement. If anyone should be tried as a criminal, it is those who are backing the climate change dogma.
Really wish to see Jane Fonda rot in a jail cell. She is inciting rebellion with her words.
If this country wasn’t so dysfunctional Jane Fonda would have been put in jail for her treason during the Vietnam War and would still be rotting there.
After further review, perhaps I could get a book deal with the title “Confessions of a Fossil Fuel Operative!” Not really. It would be quite BORING. Never engaged in any collusion, government overthrows or pay-offs, break-in’s at environmental NGO facilities or other “dirty tricks.” Never met any hired assassins at clandestine corporate meetings either. Met LOTS of dedicated, hard working folks but that is pretty much a “Nothing Burger” to a zealous, predominately agenda driven media. Not enough intrigue. So, I suppose when the International Environmental War Crimes Tribunal finally tracks me down I’ll have a lot to explain…NOT!

As a long time oil & gas professional (now retired) I have NO APOLOGIES to make to Ms. Fonda or any other environmental “activist” for my career contributions in that industry. The main difference between folks like me & “Talking Heads” (like her) is that I actually testified UNDER OATH at dozens of public hearings on various oil & gas matters of the day. I didn’t have the LUXURY to just make CRAP up! I had to do research, attend extensive training & career development and abide by a Code of Conduct. In reality, it does not take any courage or extraordinary conviction or special training to be an environmental “activist.” All you have to know is one word…NO! Like THOUSANDS of other dedicated environmental & contract professionals in the oil & gas industry, I worked tirelessly to responsibly produce domestic energy. That would include providing FUEL for all the private jets, yachts & limo’s these celebrities have long enjoyed along with the many other “spoils” of their (mostly) lavish lifestyles. In the balance, the world is a BETTER place and our modern existence is much RICHER because of fossil fuels. I am PROUD to have been part of that. So Ms. Fonda, quite respectfully, I could CARE LESS what you think…
I feel the same way about traitors who provide aid and comfort to the enemy in wartime.
