CNN flooded its front page with “grim” global warming coverage ahead of the network’s “climate crisis” with former Vice President Al Gore set for Tuesday.
CNN’s lead story highlights two new studies that come to “a grim conclusion on climate,” finding humanity is on its way to surpassing global warming levels the network warns will bring on “extinctions and super droughts.”

The network is set to hold a town hall on “The Climate Crisis: A CNN Town Hall Event with Al Gore” on Tuesday night. Gore recently released the sequel to his 2006 film “An Inconvenient Truth.”
In fact, the top of CNN’s feature article for its website leads with this message:
CNN’s lead article features two new studies claiming Earth is on track to surpass two degrees Celsius of global warming over pre-industrial levels by the end of the 21st century. This would breach the target set by the Paris climate accord in order to stop what some scientists say constitutes “dangerous” warming.
CNN reported warming beyond 2 degrees would bring “[r]ising seas, mass extinctions, super droughts, increased wildfires, intense hurricanes, decreased crops and fresh water and the melting of the Arctic are expected.”
To hit the point home, CNN quotes prominent environmental activist Bill McKibben, who once called President Barack Obama a “climate denier” for allowing Royal Dutch Shell to continue Arctic drilling operations.
McKibben also said humanity should fight global warming like it’s World War III, an effort he saw as similar to how the Allies fought the Nazis and Japanese in World War II.
Climate scientists heavily criticized New York Magazine for publishing an article in early July on global warming predictions that were too alarmist.
NY Magazine writer David Wallace-Wells argued if nothing was done to curb fossil fuel use “parts of the Earth will likely become close to uninhabitable, and other parts horrifically inhospitable, as soon as the end of this century.”
It remains to be seen if those same climate scientists will criticize CNN’s “grim” climate coverage.

I do beleive a few years ago CNN cake out wuth aad claiming thir the most TRUSTED what a luagh they are and i do beleive CNN is owned by Red Ted Turner
CNN has turned to complete crap .Race baiting activists pretending to be journalists . Bad enough they are climate illiterate but their own boss tells them to drop the USA Paris farce because no body cares and to return to the Russia “nothing burger ” as one of their air heads confessed on a hot mike .
CNN better hope something real happens to try and regain some credibility .
Wow! CNN is really taking risks with their reputation by predicting man-made weather calamities “by the end of the 21st Century. By that time the leftstream media will be fronting a totally new doomsday meme designed to drive the same leftist agenda, but the old climate change meme will be yesterday’s news – ancient history. The writers of those bogus predictions will either be dead or in some memory care facility. Don’t look for any journalistic mea culpa statements or professional reprisals when these predictions hit the floor like a big glob of wet mud far far in the future.
CNN the Communist News network(CNN)is’nt it still owned by Red Ted Turner who brainwashed kids with junk like Captian Planet and the Planeteers as well as Network Earth and National Geographic Exlporer
Al Gore’s face is an alarmist icon. He relishes the role. Sick puppy.
