CNN published an article yesterday attempting to raise alarm about climate change by asserting – wait for it – the Arctic is getting greener and that is a bad thing.
The article, titled “The Arctic is getting hotter, greener, and less icy much faster than expected, reports finds,” turns the whole “green is good” mantra on its head.
The article cites a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) report claiming temperatures have warmed in the Arctic during the past 20 years, even though NOAA’s best temperature network in the lower 48 states reports no warming during essentially the same time span.
“Further south in the US’s lower 48, we can handle a change of a couple of degrees in air temperature,” CNN quotes NOAA bureaucrat James Overland.
By claiming the Arctic cannot “handle” a couple of degrees of warming, Overland asserts more life-giving vegetation is bad and more barren icescapes are good.
Sorry, CNN and government bureaucrats, greener landscapes, more plant life and more wildlife are good, even if humans play a role in creating them.

If we returned to Snowball Earth, some in the media would still see a global warming threat.
So how many people still watch the Fake News network of CNN?
Less icy faster than expected? Why, we were told decades ago that the Arctic would be ice-free by the year 2000 and then 2010 and by golly 2020 but this time they meant it.

Another inconvenient truth about global warming — it is good for the planet. Gasp. But don’t worry, you won’t hear this in the leftist media.
The scam used to hollow out the powerful Western economies is getting turned on its head, but that goes unreported.
