You’re making a rather large jump to assume that the “climate scientists” are actually using any kind of science at this point instead of continuing to assure the continued stream of grants to keep up their lavish lifestyle jetting to conferences over the world, etc. They pretend that creating computer models based on their assumed interaction of CO2 concentration to temperature is real science. When those models failed they never went back to try to figure out what the science was telling them. Instead they kept changing the story–more rain, less rain, more tornadoes, fewer tornadoes, stronger hurricanes (ignoring when there are fewer for over a decade until two happen last year). And changing the temperature records from the past to make everything look worse for the last couple decades. Lying and cheating is usually not a good way to “do science”.
Ah, come on Tony. The July 18, 1956 record setting temperature was “just weather” while “smashing” the July 19th record was “climate change!”
