President Joe Biden berated climate change science skeptics on Wednesday, during a visit to survey the storm damage from flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. [emphasis, links added]
The president toured both South Carolina and North Carolina, traveling aboard his Marine One helicopter to view the historic flooding and devastation, six days after the storm first made landfall in Florida.
Over 160 people are now confirmed dead in six states as historic rainfall from the hurricane flooded entire towns, washed away homes, damaged many of the highways, and devastated the region.
‘Nobody can deny the impact of the climate crisis anymore. At least I hope they don’t,’ he said. ‘They must be brain-dead if they do.’
Biden blamed climate change for fueling the strength of hurricanes like Helene.
‘Scientists report that with warming oceans powering more intense rains, storms like Helene are getting stronger and stronger,’ he said. ‘Today in North Carolina I saw the impacts of that fury.’
The president described the storm as a ‘storm literally of historic proportions‘ and promised continued federal aid to help victims of the storms.

Biden also called for everyone to ‘put politics aside’ during the time of crisis.
‘There are no Democrats or Republicans, only Americans,’ he said.
The president arrived at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, South Carolina before touring the storm damage via helicopter and concluding his visit with a briefing from emergency personnel and local officials at the Raleigh Emergency Operations Center.

Biden has surrounded himself with people who only present the climate change narrative view point. As such the fact that hurricanes are not increasing in intensity with has been kept from him. The only thing he has to base his opinions on is misinformation. A good leader chooses his advisers in such away that he hears all points of view.
The United States and the rest of the free world have to give up on Net Zero 50 agenda which is not going to happen. This is impossible due to the enormous amount of mining required. Mark Mills an energy expert, in a video suggests that if the world started right now to try to achieve Net Zero 50, they would have to do this:
Build and install:1000 , 3 megawatt wind turbines the size of the Washington Monument ( 500 ft high) per day for the next 30 years; OR
Build and install: one , 1000 megawatt nuclear plant per day for the next 30 years
He states that these are scales of construction that are not doable.
Further there is an underlying issue here and that is the 95% of all goods and people are transported today with the use of fossil fuels. Mining for minerals required for EV’s and wind and solar renewable energy is another massive problem. Mills states for copper alone, no one is starting new copper mines today. Copper is a main mineral, among many more minerals that has to be used to build the electrical infrastructure for not only EV’s but
for renewable energy wind turbines and Solar panels…… not going to happen.
