Additionally, cooling after the early 14th century brought a marked deterioration in weather and a rise in crop failures, whereas climate orthodoxy says warming would cause such things.

We are WELL INTO the next one, and its going to have SERIOUS and IMMEDIATE consequences. I live in what is supposed to be an 8B plant hardiness zone, I started planting in late March this year, nothing will grow, daytime temps are too low. I have sown carrot seeds TWICE already not a SINGLE one has germinated. Same with my beans, and I had some bean plants started indoors, and soon as I put them in the ground they died. I put the most recent ones out YESTERDAY, SECOND WEEK OF APRIL, they are already DYING. I also tried planting bean seeds directly NONE have germinated. The only thing that germinated this year were turnips and Russian Scorozona, both cold crops. Couple this with the sanctions on Russia and increase in the price of wheat and fertilizer caused by that debacle, we are in SERIOUS trouble, and we are going to be faced with it later this year. I have lived here for my entire life, I have never seen a “spring” like this. We are in REAL trouble, not in some far off computer simulated “virtual” future, right now. 5 degrees at mid day and almost permanent cloud cover, nothing will grow.
All those who whine Global Warming/Climate Change and that we all must take up living in Grass Huts or Caves should take up living like that instead of trying to force us all to live that way
Greenies who want us to live like monks….should set the example for us. And ditch their cars, mobile phones and computers to start with….
