Former Vice President Joe Biden proposed his plan to combat the coronavirus outbreak on Thursday by rejoining the Paris climate treaty, contending that there is a “well-documented” link between climate change and public health risks.
Biden released his plan to fight the Wuhan virus outbreak and “prepare for future global health threats.” He added that climate change is a “driver of health threats.”
In his proposal, the former vice president promised to rejoin the Paris climate treaty “on day one” of his presidential administration” and “lead an effort to get every major country to ramp up the ambition of their domestic climate targets.”
However, it remains questionable how much good rejoining the Paris climate treaty will do ten months after the former vice president released his plan to combat the coronavirus outbreak.
“The link between climate change and health security is well-documented and will create a growing threat to Americans,” Biden wrote.
“As President, Biden will fully integrate climate change into our foreign policy and global health security strategies, and prioritize efforts to mitigate disease and migration challenges caused by a warming planet,” he said.
The former vice president also said that they would advance the Global Health Security Agenda “to respond to pandemic threats whether caused by natural causes and climate changes, bioterrorism, or laboratory accidents.”
Biden also promised to have health experts communicate with the public to combat alleged xenophobia that has followed since the coronavirus outbreak. During Biden’s speech on Thursday, he attacked President Donald Trump for spreading “xenophobia” for describing the coronavirus as a “foreign” virus.
“This communication is essential to combating the dangerous epidemic of fear, chaos, and stigmatization that can overtake communities faster than the virus,” Biden said.
“Acts of racism and xenophobia against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community must not be tolerated,” he added.

Agreed with the general sentiments about Biden and crew, diseases are no respecter of weather or climate, except that more people die in the cold, not heat. As for gun control, well, here in the Uk you cannot buy a gun anyway, no gun stores, and only a strict police licence allows one for farmers, sports etc. We simply do not have guns. Result: far, far fewer gun crimes.

Biden is really spouting nothing but hot air on this one. The link that “climate change and health security is well-documented” only has one unsupported general statement about infectious diseases. On the other hand it is well documented that the climate change movement has caused disease and deaths by making heating homes to healthy levels unaffordable.
As is normally the case those supporting the climate change fraud are advocating the exact opposite of what should be done. To best survive the colossal economic impact of the coronavirus we need healthy robust economies. Such economies come about as a result of using fossil fuels. We also need a solid medical establishment. This comes about by having a healthy economy. Joining the Paris Treaty is the exact opposite of what should be done.

🤔 Oh wait a minute. But their claim is that CO2 causes warmer temperatures. So even if that is true, if anything warmer temperatures seem to slow the spread of viruses. Right? In warmer weather buildings have more air circulation, people tend to congregate less and people are more exposed to UV light which can kill viruses. Also, some evidence suggest that higher humidity levels in summer make it harder for viruses to stay in the air as long.
Bottom line is Dementia Joe’s history on positions during the Obama years show that his recommendations were typically always the wrong choice.

Certainly if we followed thru with any form of a Green New Deal we’ll be fighting any such new virus like was done in the Dark Ages or even as recent as the Spanish Flu which killed how many millions. But I guess one upside is if there’s no air travel the Wuhan virus wouldn’t have made it so far so quickly.
