Two Russian pranksters who have a YouTube Channel (Vovan222prank) set up a phone call with U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (S-VT), in which they impersonated Greta Thunberg and her father Svante.
Throughout the phone call, which they animated, he was tricked into revealing many things about himself. (video after the jump)
For example, he admitted that in 1988 he was in the Soviet Union on his honeymoon trying to set up a “sister city” relationship between Burlington, Vermont (of which he was mayor), and Yaroslavl in the Soviet Union.
Bernie Asks For Foreign Interference On His Behalf
When the man and woman posing as Greta Thunberg and her father expressed their support for him, he asked them if they could make a public statement in support of his bid for the presidency and for his program to deal with climate change.
He then asked if they were planning to return to the United States within the next few months. After they answered in the affirmative, Bernie offered to organize an activity in conjunction with their visit to get some publicity.
The fake Greta then told him she knows some internationally-known rap stars who could perform at Bernie’s event to garner the support of more young people.
He agreed that this would be a good idea and told them he also had a number of rap artists who would be participating in his campaign.
When the fake Greta told him they were planning to visit Russia, he responded that the Russian government “has been very bad on climate change” and needs to make more of a commitment to doing something about it.
They suggested that if he received the nomination he pick Pete Buttigieg as his running mate. He said he’d “take that under advisement.”
About ten minutes into this conversation, the fake Greta told him that he’d been recruited by the Soviet Union without his knowledge to be a KGB agent. He then realized he’d been tricked and hung up the phone.

Bernie’s “people” need to supervise his activities better. Ol’ Bernie not capable without being closely handled.
Haha! That was a good one. Pulled one over on ol’ Bern!
